Live during the Killing on Adrenaline Tour '98. That's some oldschool Dying Fetus, people usually ignore their back catalogue, but it is worth the listen :)
Their back catalogue is what you should start with to get the full Dying Fetus experience. I was lucky and grew up with them. This used to be my favorite album but now "Wrong One To Fuck With" is my favorite in so many ways. John Gallagher never seems to run out of these hook riffs.
@@eoghan_ak I prefer this lineup. Sean is a better bass player technically but his vocals pale in comparison of Jason's badass vocals. This band is better with 2 guitars. Trey is a beast technically and super tight, but Kevin is a tastier and groovier player. I also think the older material (from "killing on adrenaline" to "stop at nothing") is better, even if i like some of the most recent stuff as well. These days they're a more professional and successful band, but they also got too formulaïc to my taste (same goes for Misery Index by the way, which i loved at the beginning). Still supporting and following what they do anyway.
@@djabthrash Answer me this question: Why does Sean choose to sing like he does? His style is a bit lost on me, which is odd considering he's otherwise an idol of a musician at this point.
That's just his style, which is not too far off from what Netherton was doing, and most people (besides a few grumpy people like you and me) seem to dig it. Sean does Sean, and Jason N does Jason N, so if I want Jason's style I just listen to the older stuff ;)
