Put together in 2000 by a friend of the band, and never released, this is a music video for "We Are Your Enemy" from the 1998 Dying Fetus album "Killing On Adrenaline." Music and Lyrics by Jason Netherton (1998).
After all these years I still find that the guy from the crowd, airdrumming crash cymbal at 0:45, is my favorite moment in this video. Long live metal shows, long live death metal 🤘
" Die, rust, and rot away, this last war doesn't have a name A cancer on this lifeless carcass called the world Not one left in peace, a policy of mandatory greed Eats its way across this nation built on lies Post-modern slaves; we don't give a fuck so long as money's made Buy, sell, believe; three words are just what you need At birth we're hooked for life; soul-less selfish power-fight Last hope fades, chaos starts to... Multiply, a paradox of fucking hate and lies Is nothing real at all? Sell the dream, competition is a way of life Are you for sale, or me? Pain for price, commodified we are the last device Its all the fucking same World devolved, emotions are they dying gasp Dissolved, its just a rotting faith "
HOLY SHIT THATS KEVIN TALLEY! i knew he was in the album but never actually seen him with dying fetus he looked so much different than with chimaira hes such a monster in this song
Good old Jason Netherton on vocals. This years Dying Fetus/Misery Index tour I think was a great idea and should happen more often. They should have Jason do vocals for one of their older songs. That'd be freaking sweet.
dying fetus is becoming my favorite deathmetal band ever...they just fucking rule in every way...this looks like one of the most fun shows someone ever could have gone too
Just came back from a show in Tampa, the pit was unbelievable...two fights broke out cause it got too violent...stupid hardcore dancing...but when Fetus came out the old-school guys put a stop to that.
As the 3 piece band they are now & with Trey Williams handling the drums for 3 years now I think Gallagher knows that Trey W. is as skilled as u have to be to play this kind of music. Actually, he adds some extra to DF. The technical level is so high in this band, that if u cant play at least 280 bpm and at the same have your own style to combine with DF Y'r out. Trey Williams is without any doubt the best drummer they've had & I really hope this formation stands. They have 12 ex-members!!
Have been Fan of D:F. since I heard & saw the Shepherd's Commandment vid. 2 yr's after they played at Copenhell Festival, Only ALL classics. No matter what, u write about the drumming, Trey Williams, is a waaay better drummer than this guy, but I admit he plays some cool breaks. Their new, will be much like Subjected., but mre back to basics..D:F's force is, NEVER to play 5 min. powerblast, like Nile or Vital Remains. The drummers destroy all riffs. Cause U know the beat is 280-290bpm. Trey plays that too, but for maybe 30sec, Gallgher uses 75% of the time of the making slow parts 1st!! The quick riffparts, is a natural gift he has
@@drakionx So many people seem to ditch their accounts or forget their passwords or something after a while, but you still got it 👏🤘 Hahaha That's awesome.
Lord Benton does also mention his regret for repeatedly branding his inverted cross. The interview I read, Glen says bad shit was happening to him unexplainable shit, when he would remove his inverted cross chain from around his neck. He believes it "protects" him from any Christian influence & from beening tortured by the demons he believes he has control of in his blackened heart.
This is how Death Metal should sound like.......Death, Pestilence etc I can relate but not some dull death metal bands only care about speed and growl....
fuck yes, these guys are solid, and though the formula does not change much over the years, the concepts they use still work and sound good. It`s just so pure and powerful, with a poignant message in the lyrics. \m/ los rockeros van al infierno!\m/

fcknjoe4 you're right. Gallagher is a fuckin genius and also a good guitarist for this genre and also have a particular way to sing. I tank him for his music and i said to him after a concert in Rome.
@brybry19871987 No, they've had many line-up changes. The only original member left is John Gallagher, their lead singer (the bald one). Even so, each line-up is very brutal and talented in it's own way.
