Those new strings and ambient noises in the new level 4 theme are so good. In my opinion, the music now adds a lot to the adrenaline when you have like 8 volatiles behind you.
6:31 Sounds so good. Like a classic horror chase sequence. I like the hint of mystery in it. It's like it's telling a small story about the nature of the infection on top of creeping you the f*ck out.
Old theme was good but this is way better. Dying light 1 still beats it all though. That music was heartpumping and scary with a headset on. Nice job techland.
@@mohammedb1164 They were good, but I vastly prefer these. They sound menacing, and eerie. Like there's something seriously wrong. And considering there's rabid mutated monsters running after you, monsters that twitch unnaturally and gurgle on their own blood while they're relentlessly looking to rip you apart, I'd say that vibe fits.
I’ve recently got dying light 2 cause my friends recommended me the game and oh my god when I tell you I was scared shitless when I heard the chase 4 theme
Eh it's not bad but it just sounds too casual, not epic and scary enough. They just need to bring back the original chase theme from Dying Light 1, that one was iconic and good and actually adrenaline fueling.
They changed it to make it scarier than it was + they dont need to scrap it because of this ost the game is getting alot better but still needs improvement
