I truly enjoy Dylan’s videos. You can tell what he’s feeling by looking at his face. That’s very important for videos but I sincerely hope he never plays poker for money.
I nearly pissed myself... On a side note it is surprising how much sugar you can remove from modern recipes and still have a sweet product. Cookies loose some texture but still taste fine with 1/4 as much sugar.

@@blakebrouwer3266 put an underscore at the start and end of what you want _italicized_ but make sure there's a space on either side_otherwise_ things may break To bold & italicize, you use both underscores and asterisks. *_like so_* I usually do underscore, asterisk, word(s), asterisk & underscore. Not sure if works in reverse: *_let's find out_*

@@mariavargas2053 Looking at the size of his hands and thinking about the size of a regular rack, I'm going to hazard a guess that he used a 9"Lx5"Wx3"H loaf pan. If you use a smaller pan, your loaf will be thicker and probably take a little longer to bake.
If you make this recipe and are curious about calories, since it's literally flour, milk, peanut butter, and sugar for the caloric load: 12 slices = 170 cal/slice 10 slices = 204 cal/slice I know it's not important to most folks out there, but with these old recipes I find it really fun to look into nutritional value.

i had that moment last night making a side dish for dinner and i read the recipe and it said an entire teaspoon of cayenne i’m sitting there like “there is no way that’s how i’m supposed to make this” ended up cutting it down to a 1/4 teaspoon instead that shit is SPICY if you put in too much

This was one of the first of Dylan’s videos my mom showed me and now I’m addicted to the channel; I loved the idea of peanut butter bread, and while I haven’t gotten to make it yet, I got super excited last weekend when I was pawning through an old cook book I’ve had forever and I found a recipe for pumpkin bread. My little brother thought it was weird, but all I could think about was how good the peanut butter bread turned out. It was amazing and only lasted about 3 days, half of by the end of the night. Watching Dylan bake helped me discover how much I love baking, and since school started I haven’t been able to stop having so much fun :D
The look on Dylan's face when he said "This is why I bake." made my heart melt. I genuinely wanted to squish him with hugs and kisses and try everything he bakes.

For one, I was responding to a commenter who specifically called someone else boring for saying they aren't interested in knowing who people sleep with. For another, this guy regularly includes sexual innuendo in his videos so he's the one who makes it about sex. Be better.
People actually knew the principles of cooking/baking so much better back then. When you have a solid foundation in the basics, it helps to improvise with what's available. My g-ma was a 17year old orphan struggling to keep her 6 younger siblings alive in the great depression. I swear that woman could have made cardboard topped with shoe polish taste good.

Dylan, your eyes are beautiful, and so expressive. I can tell before you say a word whether or not you think the recipe is good or not. The better the recipe, the more your eyes light up.
I just had to make this after his reaction and I’ll tell you, it was surprisingly simple and pretty damn good! Not tons of flavor and similar texture to pumpkin bread or banana bread. It almost tasted like perfectly nutty and savory bread. Went amazing with a little bit of butter.
