One of the greats. Moran can tell a dozen clever, strange, literate jokes in one ten-second slurred diatribe that sounds like it just now popped into his head. Love it.

Yeah, he really has a gift for making carefully planned bits sound like spontaneous rambling. It's a style of presentation I don't think I've ever seen someone do better.

Volvandese I agree. They have a very similar style, but I fear Izzard has lost his edge a bit. He did that horribly self-indulgent riff on his old Star Wars canteen bit, and the audience were lapping it up like good little lambs.

You know that bit about extended immaturity..that hit me between the eyes for no personal reasons but just to think about all the young men who have died in ww1 or ww2 and we all walk passed the little monuments in villages or towns with their names on. all of a sudden I fell quite quiet after the laughter.

In my meager defense, when people hire an IT consultant, they expect us to either dress in a nerdy t-shirt and cargo pants or in a suit and tie, and I can't bare the thought of wearing a tie every day. It's just a work uniform, I swear, not a sign that I'm a manchild who stays inside playing videogames all day. I mean, I do, but that's not related to the outfit.
