Good morning! This is Dylan Jovine with Behind the Markets. Happy Monday! It's July 1st, and yes, I am wearing a white dress shirt today because I'm about to record a documentary on energy and its pivotal role in the AI revolution.
As I've been emphasizing all week, the AI revolution is truly an energy revolution, and really all tech revolutions have their roots in energy revolutions. This concept is so crucial that I'm dedicating a video to it, which will also serve as part of our marketing efforts. Dressing up is like going on a first date with a new customer; you want to make a good impression!
This weekend, I reflected on the market dynamics. The S&P 500 seems driven by a few giants like Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, while the rest lag behind. It's a tale of two stock markets, with small-cap stocks feeling the impact of recession fears more acutely. Yet, this also presents opportunities as small caps are cheap, trading at 14 times earnings compared to 30 times for the Dow.
At Behind the Markets, we've seen success with six triple-digit profits in our small-cap service, Breakthrough Wealth, while others remain flat but I still remain bullish and optimistic about these opportunities.
