It sounds like you've done your research and have an idea on what needs to be done to get a mower built to race. It's always great to see more people get into the sport, especially when they sound like they're near where I go to race as well.😁 Have you been able to make it to any races in Carlisle just to watch? Now being brutally honest, I strongly recommend having a front axle like you describe in the video, as I have serious reservations about how well that front end would hold up. You should come out to a race, most of us will be willing to give advice to help you along. There's a race on July 29th; I'll be at running my two GP mowers.
