Great video! How would I create a dynamic reference line where the user selects their chosen date range, and reference lines populate for the period before performance. Ex. User chooses a date range of April 11 - April 17, and the reference line is for data from April 4 - April 10? Thanks!
Hi Dave, Is the reference line a daily average? Or is it just overlaying the Current range (Apr 11-17) over the Prior range (Apr 4-10)? It sounds like a combination of things you'd need to do. 1. Create Parameters for Start and End Dates 2. Create Calculations to backtrack 1 week from start date and end date parameters 3. Create a calculation for "Current Values" 4. Create a Calculation for "Prior Values" 5. Write a FIXED statement to fix the prior values to the weekday. { FIXED DATEPART('weekday',[Date Field]): SUM([Prior Values])} Now you should be able to filter the worksheet on the current value range but still see the prior values on the sheet.
