Dynamic Package Labeling System
FANUC America's Authorized System Integrator, Vanomation Incorporated, has designed and built a standalone dynamic package labeling system utilizing a FANUC LR Mate 200iD robot. The Robotic Printer Applicator (RPA) is designed to accurately place barcode labels on products, packages, and pallets. The RPA ships as a complete system, ready to be positioned against the conveyor to begin applying labels with minimal effort.
Created using Vanomation’s XYZ patent, the RPA8000 eliminates the need for a separate controller network by embedding the spatial coordinates for the label directly into the label data print stream. This ensures each label will be placed in the right location on the right product.
The RPA8000 comprises five core components: The Vanomation Robotic Controller, the Vanomation Thermal Barcode Printer based on the Printronix T8000, the Vanomation Steel Frame Cell, the FANUC LR Mate 200iD, and the robot controller.
