so, when you click the button all the pages in your app change to dark ? did you write the same what he wrote in the Home page in the rest pages ?? hope you let me know cuz I'm working in my graduation project

It always depends on your CSS selectors, but in general you can apply it to the whole app, sure.

Great Turorial! I was trying to change the alert's background and text color as well but it doesnt change and looks the same. How do i change the alert style here?

Are you on v4? In that case you'll have to work with the CSS variables so it's a bit different.

Why don't we use a simple public variable on the provider instead of BehaviorSubject? I mean: inside the provider: public activeTheme:string="dark-theme"; app.html: when need to change: this.settings.activeTheme="light-theme";

how can i change the sidebar color in each theme? I can change the toolbar title and background color in each page, but in the sidebar does not grab the CSS. I do not know how to change the global css in each theme (I usually change the css of the sidebar in app.scss).
