Needing to redo the mask every frame for moving objects will take ridiculously long! Once you have created a mask on the object the program should be able to update the mask for you at each frame to keep the object covered by the mask.
Is it possible to use smart object tracking in Pinnacle Studio 26 to remove jitter from an original video clip. How would you tell Studio to keep the tracked object centered in the frame? Or maintain the tracked object in the same position in the clip?

I have v.23 and now purchased the new v.24 in hope the mask problem was fixed as your advertising the new version and improvements. The problem described on my SR ticket #5870477 and it was created on March 02, 2020. The last Corel Customer Support Services manager answer was "Our Engineering team has been working..." on June 22. And voila - the new release with the unfixed bug! For other customers: the ticket request describe the Mask works successfully only when the clip and mask placed on the start of the timeline! The advertising clips on the Pinnaclesys website shows the correct Mask functionality only on the start position of the timeline. Please create the project and create some of the simple transparency Mask forms where transparency values changes on the different keyframes and find this bug.
Hi i recorded with my camcorder with an sd card when it was full I used a second sd card now when I import the both movies author won't add the second sd card which I imported so can you tell me how to import both sd cards and join the movie clips together thanks very much.
Is there any way to use motion tracking in a more precise manner? The one in 23 is so bad its sad. It cant follow a perfectly square id plate on a car without flying around the screen. Id rather control it manually but there is no such option.

from my point of view, this feature is an unfair ad, it is not dynamic. From marketing materials, it seems that I am able to use it instead of the green screen. And this is only frame by frame manual work. absolutely ineffective. Same I can make in the photo editor and final image use as a clip. I expected something different. How long will you remove a person from the 30 minutes long video? 2 years?
This may be something really simple, but I tried to use dynamic masking and all was well and good editing on the clip, but since I had panned and zoomed before starting masking, I was left with a mask that was way off from the video element I was trying to mask. When I click the "Timeline" tab the mask toolbars go away, so I can't edit it in Timeline view. How does one cope with this? Do I need to go back and do the masking first and then pan/zoom? Is that even possible, or will the mask registration be lost when I pan/zoom the clip? It seems the most straightforward thing would be to be able to edit the mask in different views, but perhaps there's a design reason we can't do this?

I've bought Studio Ultimate and want to get started on it, but have seen people complaining it crashes lots and I don't want to spend a lot of time on something that's just going to be a pain. What has viewers' experience been?
@@hoangky1240 Yep, but my time is worth more to me and don't have spare to waste learning the software then finding out it keeps crashing or exports like treacle :)
i have problems with the sound going out while playing a video from the timeline. I have to shutdown and restart the application for the sound to come back on the whole track.

@@jeanmarc4157 But it's still the reason behind 50/60p option. If you go to your control panel in PS 24 you can choose the 4k60p in there, why can't you see it?

Hallo, ich habe das Update installiert und bin entsetzt. Fehler die bei mir auftreten sind nicht verbessert. Masken erstellen funktioniert überhaupt nicht mehr. Mit Rechteck und Kreis erfolgt noch ein Tracking. Alle andere Werkzeuge haben keine Funktion mehr. Es wird keine Maske getrackt oder erstellt. Das gleiche gilt auch für „Masken Feld erstellen“. Kann nur davon abraten das Update aufzuspielen. Nur das Rendern von Dateien beim Export in H264, H265 und MTS mit Hardwareunterstützung hat sich verbessert. Die Auslastung meiner GPU lag vorher bei 5% bis 11%. Jetzt liegt sie bei 33% bis 39%. Aber ich habe das Programm wegen der Masken Funktionen gekauft. War bisher nicht zufrieden mit dem Programm und bereute es jetzt schon nicht vom Kauf zurückgetreten zu sein. Aber jetzt ist diese Software völlig unbrauchbar.

Very nice video showing the potential use of masks but you explain too fast may be it is better to cut in 2 part and speak slowy and take time in action.

Once again instead of developing user friendly software they over and over sell updates that doesn’t make the difference Backgrounds are usually not fully blue nor blurred. How difficult can it be to develop user friendly masking
