can't wait to bring my sound system to Jamaica. My, advise to anyone who owns a sound system in Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean, "don't run to England/London thinking that you gonna have more fun playing your sound system" there is no freedom for any sound system here! I own enough equipment that can build two sound systems, but it just sits there, there are lots of restrictions and regulations, it's really sad.
@Da Royal General it's a variety of reasons, in London, I notice that they are more about clamping down on bashment/dancehall types of events, the roots events/dance get more alkowance. the the main problems are the noise and antisocial behaviour of patrons. In Jamaica they still have a lot of freedom in regards to the playing of sound systems. I would advise promoters to start events early, I don't see the point in going to a party between 2:30 and 4:00 when the party finishes at 5:00AM.
Dynamite juggling is next level, in my opinion them bigger sounds like Stone Love have become so boring and predictable when I hear them juggle. No dis respect to Stone Love big sound but Dynamite is a new breed that is bringing back clever exciting juggling 🤹♀️ again 👊🏽
Nobody let’s the tune run through nobody drops the tune from drumroll nobody plays the b side nobody uses a turntable anymore and if they do it’s pure mixing and only 20 secs play. It’s disappointing now
Somebody set di date when outside open again. Unu mussi tink Dynamite Sound a joke sound. Not even wid a St Mary sound, any fkn sound ina di world mek we open di dub box and show unu suppn
