I've been wanting that for a long time too. It happened to me one time in NCAA 14. I was an OC at Old Dominion then took the HC job at Miami (OH) and the freshman receiver I had recruited the year prior actually followed me there. I was shocked that it actually happened, especially with how rare transfers were in that game.
I pray the coaching carousel is done correctly. Coordinators get hired as coaches based on how well they do and move up or move down if fired. We should have a chance to develop our staff and give them raises or try to steal another coach with a better deal.
@@davidcolon3995recruiting early was pretty standard in ncaa basketball games it's really not that difficult if done properly. Just the elite players. It should have flips and decommitments and the ability to recruit committed prospects into that
People need to keep their expectations low until ea proves they game make a modern football game with great gameplay and an in depth dynasty/franchise mode. The battlefield engine they’ve double down on was never intended to run these type of games. I really hope they surprise me but until then I’ll continue to only play ncaa 14.
I agree. The game play and physics engine has never been good. It always drove me crazy that once a tackle animation started every other player around them falls over like bowling pins. It looked horrible and played badly too. SEGA's NFL2k was the best football game to ever, because it was the most realistic.
And stop taking things out of the game that was already in on the earliest versions like FCS schools, adjustable playoffs, discipline and suspending players etc.
I just want everyone to remember that EA has also promised they are going to make Madden better for the past 10 years. Temper your expectations. I hope this is good when it comes out, but it will be difficult to top NCAA14.
Thats a lame ass idea for a fucking dynasty. Lets just wait for the game to drop. The NCAAFB series has always been better than Madden. They know not to fuck with college football fans. Madden and NFL FANS are jokes who don’t take their products serious
Even though that’s awful, I would still prefer that over the garbage ultimate team with no improvements in offline modes like is currently the case for Madden.
One small detail I hope we have in position coaches. Like imagine having horrible coaches then once you build your program up coordinators from the nfl wants to be apart of your staff…could be pretty cool imo
i got super amped every time I landed a 5 star in 14. they did a pretty decent job there. I enjoyed recruiting in 13 even more though. It required more work which equals more rewarding feeling.
“2014 was two video game systems ago” someone tell Madden that apparently they haven’t noticed. I am excited for this game but EA makes me hesitant we are getting a watered down mode.
I’ll never forget my sister taking me to walmart the night when NCAAF 14 came out and just how much I loved it. I played it so much my mom could hear the menu band music and knew what game I was playing. Never knew it’d be away for over a decade. The day this comes out, it’ll be like I’m a kid all over again. Please don’t mess it up EA. 🙏🏾
“In some capacity” is a cop out phrase by developers. That could mean that NIL is mentioned once in some text and nothing else. “We have a lot more processing power..” but team builder is not in the game. EA man…EA.
Many people havent heard about it but theres this cfb simulation game called Football Coach College Dynasty on steam right now and I LOVE its recruiting system and how they handle NIL. Hope EA does something similar
I just hope they do a better job with transfer logic in this game than in NCAA 14. I had guys transferring who were slated to start the next year. Doesn’t make sense. Or atleast add a feature so I can see the likelihood of plays transferring like morale or something.
Just imagine being able to invite a 5 star recruit to homecoming or a rivalry game And the camera pans over to him shows his top three schools or something
I wonder how much of the game will be customizable? If you want to turn OFF, transfer portal or can you toggle through its usage (high, medium or low). Can you turn OFF NIL much like in franchise modes you could turn off various items. With the PAC-12 breaking a part is there an option to create a conference and rebuild the PAC-12 with its logos and branding?
I honestly can’t wait for this game to drop. It’s gonna be huge. I’m excited to play it. I hope they get all of the uniforms in for every single team including the black out uniforms for every team including North Carolina’s black out uniforms. Very excited for this game to drop next year.
They really need to incorporate college gameday in the game. Have it skippable but I think a majority of people would love it in there and have the big games be predicted like Herbstreit did in 14 but obviously expand it as an experience.
What about presentation? Stadium entrances like the sandman. Or the Seminoles tomahawk chop. Are we going to get all the crazy and dope updated uniforms? I know it’s a lot, but those are small details that can really make a game even greater 🙏🏾
@@tubbylighti hope that at bare minimum there will be a team creation option similar to madden’s relocation where there are preset teams for you to choose from. not the biggest deal in the world though if the game is good on its own
I really hope you can edit and there’s a bunch of options for your look as a coach to make realistic. would love to be able to put some jordan ones on my coach and if i want rock a cowboy hat like deion lol
Updating the accessories/ swagg of the game will also be a big detail leap because the college football swagg on the field is to crazy to not be added into the game meaning u should be able to wear your towel any way, hand warmer any way like the swagg should be unlimited tbh.
All sounds good. However, I hope there is a option to turn off the transfer portal in the settings of our dyisty. I would like the option of playing the old school way.
As a person who has bought quite a few EA games over the past 15 years...I'll fool myself into thinking this will be a great game that is not focused on just getting more money out of my pocket after I have already bought the game. I hope it is great, but I feel it has been a while since they've had a good one. I'm still excited. I'm going to buy it. But I really hope it doesn't let me down. I've been waiting for a decade.
The thing that's insane is if you think this game will be about anything other than Ultimate Team. OP Tommy Frazier vs OP Tim Tebow if you pay enough to get them through CUT. That's what this game is gonna be. It won't be playable and dynasty mode will be a shell of what it was to force you to Ultimate Team
I want to be able to customize my recruiting list and only recruit from specific area codes along customize my offensive playbook to only a two back sets except for empty back field with the QB in shotgun and a wishbone set.
can we also get a better trajectory path when throwing 20 yard ins and posts? I'm tired of LB's being able to sit at 10 yards and intercept deep middle passes.
Agreed who wants to keep playing a dynasty at Old Dominion has the smallest crowd at 15,000 you should at least be able to have double the attendence years down the road to 30,000. If you're playing at a stadium like South Alabama which is about 30,000 you should be able to upgrade to a 60,000 capacity stadium.
I haven't heard enough about gameplay. Recruiting and all that is cool, but I want to know how the game is going to play. We've had this style revolution of offensive football with RPOs since the last NCAA. Madden has a shitty implementation of RPOs and really don't even read them the way they are supposed to. Linebackers don't trigger on running plays to open up throwing lanes for RPOs. I want to see NCAA get it right.
@@williama5159 for sure. As much as I like recruiting, NCAA 14s gameplay is why I still play to this day. All of the authentic spread option things they put in because that was the craze of that decade of football. I want to see that with RPOs since NCAA missed out on that innovation period.
@@TimothyBell90If the game sux we can always go back to 14, they have RPOs in revamped , but with the modding community i see them making the game a lot better PC wise, the gameplay is gonna be the hit or miss factor i don’t have my hopes up tho😢
Dudes saying two consoles ago like we don’t still play the game it’s about not making it like madden let it continue to be it’s own game and series please EA 🙏🏾 do not ruin it
I tell ya what next summer I’m camping in my game room. Phone on dnd. Hell I’m trying to get these mods I’m seeing y’all play on. But I’m stoked about this game just bc it’s been a whole decade we’ve suffered with no college game.
@@studiedturtle4139You must’ve never played the older games. It’s not really about the gameplay. I can still play NCAA 14 dynasty for hours on end but you’d never catch me playing madden franchise. The team building for NCAA is so different and way better than madden could ever hope to be. + It’s college football, in real life it might not always play out this way but as a concept it is WAY more interesting than the NFL.
@@studiedturtle4139on one hand i agree, but on the other hand, if that was the case then there wouldnt need to be a delay. It doesnt take 3 entire years to make a reskin of madden. So that's why some people are holding out for it to be a good game
Cannot wait till this game comes out. Every year I would buy NCAA FOOTBALL and spend thousands of hours recruiting. Was such an addicting and fun game to play.
How about for guys like me. I like recruiting , dont love it but i like it but i mainly want to play games. Can i ever become a dominant program? Or am i stuck in ole Miss \Iowa Territory?
I just hope it is able to have a good bit of content and they can alter the gameplay enough to distance it from Madden. The main gripe with Madden has been how shallow the modes have been and just how the gameplay feels extremely repetitive. I’m hoping them asking for 2 years to develop will give them enough time to accomplish these things. If it does end up basically being Madden then the game will flop. Simple as that, it is astonishing how the people at Madden haven’t grasped that their game really sucks yet, but hopefully the NCAA team can.
gameplay is important but if the dynasty mode and environment inside gameplay is what they’re hyping it up to be it wont matter all too much. We haven’t had an NCAA game in over 10 years remember
They should include a branded sportsbook (e.g. Caesar’s or FanDuel) or a makeshift sportsbook in this game for theoretical odds on matchups, not actual live-betting. If you cover spreads or win games, the university gets a greater appeal from prospects and a larger fan base. However missing spreads or losing games when you are favored may result in severe consequences. Also, they need to bring back multiple PA commentators based on region of play and if it’s televised regional or nationally. Mostly ESPN but include CBS or FOX. And include each networks’ respective themes.
