Well to be fair, he had the rapier but when the Xtreme Legends (or Empires I forgot which version did it first) came out that was when they gave him the bench. I’m still baffled Liu Shan got the wackiest weapon of them all
Dillon Haggett i was shocked when i first see Ding Feng lol , back in dw he was some generic model as a young general but now he looks like a fucking hulk
Something I wonder is there are young men, elderly men & young women in the Dynasty Warriors games... But why no elderly women? I would luv to play as a badass Grandma with a cool weapon.
There maybe no grandma carrying double missille pods as weapon, but if you want to consider wifes or milfs (if you count wifes as milfs), there are lot on this game, like: -zhen ji is cao pi's wife -sun shang xiang is liu bei's wife -lian shi is sun quan's wife -bao sanniang is guan suo's wife -diao chan is lu bu's wife
I think that's kind of an issue with adventure/fantasy/adventure stories in general (regardless of the game series, or country of origin in whichthat game is developed). You notice it most in anime and manga. I couldn't agree more that having more old ladies would enhance the experience. Let no one tell me that there weren't some old (not "older", not "middle-aged") women of substantial influence within the course of China's history that could not be annexed into the roster. Or Samurai Warriors' roster, for that matter.
Vivian Darkbloom lol, aren't all those wife i just mention will become mother one day, or Zhang Chunhua has a son/ daughter as a general in game. But, what i do know is, in Samurai Warriors 4, Ii Naotora is the only legit milf u could play as, since Naomasa Ii always refer her as 'mother' in the map
My favorite game series ever. I've had this series with me since I was about 9 and now I'm 25. So many beautiful and endearing memories. I hope they never fade. This game means so much to me.

Series best in terms of English voice acting. Dynasty Warriors 9's atrocious English acting is what brought me here. Welp... looks like I'm playing it in Japanese.
@NeoRealityArtist Nope the only voices from the old cast that are unacceptable are Sun Ce, Sun Quan to an extent, Xun Yu, Wang Yi, Huang Zhong, Sima Zhao, Xiahou Ba, Guo Huai to an extent, and Zhang Jiao.
@@historian252 sorry to tell you but they are all terrible I live watching dubs I've listened to some bad dubs but this is the first time I actually said it's too bad I'm switching to Japanese so yeah their very bad
I love this game and it's voice actors. I don't see why people hate it a lot. If you want something dynamic than this is the game. Otherwise of you're a traditionalist then play Kessen instead. I seriously don't understand why their costumes are hated sand voices as well. This is just me but people are stuck to the old games way too much and should just roll with it. Otherwise just stick to Kessen
crud nom hahaha I remember his musou where he spins with his hammer then he lies on the floor XD or the jump in the air then lands on his butt move XD Yea Cao Cao is a badass
Amnesian Bro Yeah, for the life of me I can't remember which game it was, but if you picked Xu Zhu for fan castle Lu Meng would say "We must go and defeat Quan Yu" and then Xu Zhu would go "I understand what your saying, but I'll go out and fight." I went, seriously? How complicated was that sentence?
English Voice Difference for Xingcai: In DW5, she was voiced by Carrie Savage that had high-pitched voice. In the current games, she is voiced by Wendee Lee that has a woman's voice.
I honestly don't know what everyone's complaining about, never played the old DW games but they were probably only good in their generation. DW 6 and 7 do both look bad but DW8 (maybe not so much XL) is the best DW game, it's basically improved and fixed the mistakes of 6 and 7. And I honestly don't see anything wrong with their voices
My all Time Favorites are Xiahou Dun , Jia Chong and Sima Shi. Their Combos and Powers are awesome and i like their Personalities a lot. My Type of Character.
DW 9 characters I want: Liu Feng (Liu Bei's adopted son) Cao Rui (As Emperor he is a good military general as he defended Wei from Shu and Wu). Sima Yan (He usurped the Wei Dynasty and founded the Jin Dynasty and also unified China). Sun Hao (Last Emperor of Wu, I could see him resembling Joffrey Baratheon or Dong Zhuo, he is a lunatic and incapable Emperor.) Yuan Shu (He uses the imperial seal to established the very short-lived Zhong Dynasty I think.) Zhuge Ke (He led Wu against Wei in the later years. He got executed by the Wu Emperor, believing he is plotting to take the throne.)
I would like to see Cheng Pu one of Sun Jian's earliest officers, Gongsun Zan who fought against the Yellow Turbans and Dong Zhou and maybe more in affiliated officers like Zhang Liang, the Zhang Bao of the Turbans, Xu Rong, Guo Si, Li Jue, some Nanman officers and some other guys who have been generic through the years. I think it's cool that they do take officers who have been generic guys and make them into playable characters.
does anyone remember a female character that wear black long traditional Japanese dress that fights using two guns in this game or similar games I just can't remember which game it was I remember this character and the fact that the game was on ps2 pls help T.T
He DID say the PS2 version of DW6; which is technically DW6:Special in Japan, as some clone characters were given either their original weapons or new weapons altogether; Zhang He is such a character.
Could you do one of these for DW2 and DW3? This would make finding out who did who that much easier. I know they don't have the best VA'ing in the world but some people would still like to know these things.
One thing's for sure if you never played DW6. Don't bother, you're not missing much. No 4th weapons, no full roster (7 characters were cut), only 17 characters have musou mode, most characters are motion clones, rare horses like red hare come at random and not as many stages. But the skill tree system makes it easier to beat the game.
I love that Vic Migogna (voice of Jia Xu and Xiahou Ba here, and voice of Edward Elric, Qrow Branwen, Kurz Weber, Tamaki Suoh, Broly) is in this game as for me he just seems like an excellent choice for a voice actor in these games, sad that dw9 had to make the va worse, most likely thanks to the new studio that was handling the dub.
he isnt a voice actor. they got him to play dante because he was doing the mo cap for him in dmc3 and stayed with doing so. he was masamune in basara because the producer of dmc4 asked him and jyb to play the 2 main characters of another game he was working on, which was basara.
