Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires - Xun Yu's Model and DW 8 Empires Screenshots! 

I'm loving this love for Wei right now, Xun Yu is someone I wanted to see for a while. I still holding out for Cao Ang, Cao Anmin, Lui Feng, Mi Fang, ect... but Xun Yu is a really great choice, can't wait for empires 8.

Xun yu is cao cao's most trusted strategist... Btw the reason why the English version of dynasty warriors are +1 from the Japanese version is because the first game was a 2D fighter and in America it was called dynasty warriors but in japan it was called something else... So that's why the number is fucked up

I've been beating Xun Yu and Xun You most of the time in DW8, they're the officers I remember the most. And now... one of them is given a holy blessing of the Koei gods xD

About the numbering of the Japanese and American games: What we know as Dynasty Warriors(1) is called Sangoku Musou over in Japan and basically worked like a fighting game (1-on-1 combat like Soul Calibur or Tekken). The next game, which involved all the button mashing, horse-riding, and story-driven gameplay we're used to was called SHIN Sangoku Musou(1), but in America and other countries, it was marketed as Dynasty Warriors 2. So if you think about it, other countries will always be a number ahead of Asian countries due to our habit of clumping things with basically the same name into a group. (hope I could help you out a bit)

i hope they actually release a physical copy of the game, that shit pissed me off with DW 7 empires. Also i hope koei releases DW 8 empires on xbox too so that xbox fans can join in on the fun but with the way things have been going thats unlikely

Also, if im not mistaken, characters from extreme legends will appear in Empires. And this is from a player who owns the ONE, lol. Yet, im truly looking forward to Empires, especially Xu Shu's weapon. Fighting style reminds me so much of Ezio.

The first game in the series in English is not considered part of the Dynasty Warriors franchise in Japan. That's why they are one behind everywhere else.

I'm praying that this gets dubbed. They hype is too much for Koei to ignore us.

Now, I hear the game was pushed a Month and will release on October 23. It's delayed so they can improve the quality of the game.

Hope they confirm they will be making a samurai warriors 4 Xtreme Legends one of these days. because i think be awesome they add more characters to Samurai Warriors. But I think its awesome they add Xun Yu, and this makes like cao cao's 4th Strategist. the other 3 being Sima Yi, Guo Jia, and Jia Xiu

To be honest, I prefer Lu Kang over Xun Yu, maybe because I'm a Lu Xun fan myself, I heard he's going to use Lu Xun' s weapon from DW6 so I guess it's got to be amazing. So how about the EX attack in DW8E, any news yet?

I really hate how Empires only have an Empire Mode, not a story mode or something like it. Plus, I think KOEI should've waited for Empires, so they we can have a Complete Edition, not DW8 and DW8XL CE. The Complete Edition would make sense with the original game, and the installments too. I'd pay for $60-$80. I just don't want to buy one by one because I don't want to use too much. I don't know what I should do... wait for DW9, or buy DW8,XL, and Empires. It seems money consumed. Complicated...
