Woolich has everything you could ever want built into the ecu! I'm glad you did this and didn't ruin a weekend at the track! HOMEWORK ALWAYS PAYS OFF! I love the new master cylinder and nickel plated mono block calipers🤑👍👍👍
Assen is definitely on my bucket list for next year, such a nice track and only 4 hours away from me. Only started track riding this year, already had my first crash but I still learned a ton from your channel, especially regarding Pirelli compounds. Hopefuly I get my replacement fairings in soon enough for a final trackday this season. I hope you bought the guys a few beers or plan on doing so because that kind of customer service is amazing 🤩
Hahaha cheers Jonathan , actually I will send them a gift hamper of cheese and wine ;) .. good shout They honestly were on it non stop trying to sort the bike out Thanks for following the channel , the tyre info is something I really enjoy doing as I can really feel the tyres underneath me more than suspension … sorry to hear about your crash , hope to see you back on track properly 🤗
You did good to remove all that crap pcv stuff. That has no business on an Aprilia. Whoever told you to put wire on the valve...well terrible idea. That valve can be kept open via software. I strongly suggest you get in touch with gabro in Italy. Anyway glad you found the issue.
Thank you very much for the wise words, I think when the motor of the exhaust valve was taken out in 2017 , I don't think the software will help it open. The bike had a Gabro map before from 2016, it was an old map. But you are so right , I am glad I took the PC5 out , now things are simple and they work amazingly well. But I will get in touch with Gabro anyways , he knows me well and has always given excellent advice.
Abhi, the audio issue is that your mic is panned hard right. Often, cameras will record a microphone input as either the Left or Right channel in a stereo track. You've to take 2 minutes to cross check this when importing the file in your video editing software. All the best! You may want to slap a basic compressor + limiter on your vocal track. Use a LUFS meter to reference and even out your softer tracks so they're in line with the louder tracks. Enjoy!
@greyanaroth absolutely mate You are spot on and thanks for the tips I moved from rode mic to dji and was on mono for the two way system But it’s all sorted now Thanks for the tips I have saved it on my notepad
To be honest , we did think it was the exhaust servo valve to begin with but to the naked eye it was totally lockwired so we didn’t think much of it but when we played around with it after trying all the other stuff , it was clear that the lock wire had untied slightly and we were gutted and relieved at the same time It’s a common issue I will try to get it professional drilled out and welded by someone
Thank you very much , hopefully there will be some regular videos now on the channel.. love Glasgow , I was there when they had some games going on , probably common wealth . quirky city. Thanks for following the channel
I've just picked a 2012 RSV4 Factory APRC. I can't wait convert it to a track dedicated bike. I'd love to hear about the Accossato equipment, a lot of Aprilia riders swear by it! Looking forward to the next on Abhi!
Adam, you will love the RSV4, I have been quite faithful to my 2015 RF which is very similar to yours and it really sings on the track , hopefully on Wednesday night the accosato video will be out It’s very very detailed , a bit technical but we really go into the accosato master cylinder, calipers and pads
Nice video as always.....even though the volume issue..... Waiting for your Assen videos BTW waiting to hear from you.... about you know what ;-) hehehehe Take care
Thanks Alberto I hated the volume issue Was trying out a new dual mic and I didn’t plug it in properly Was so gutted I hate when audio messes up Regarding Aaragon, it’s fully booked for now I spoke to them today Even I might not go due to finances But let’s see
@@ChasingTenths ok. Let me know for sure when you can, as I might go to Aragon on another date if No limits trackday doesn’t work for me and my friend. Take care my friend
For sure , I will keep in touch with , I must make my mind up with paragon in the next 48 hours, otherwise my slot will be given to someone else in uk@@AlbertoBaranano
Excellent, Abhi is back 😁 I see you teased us about your new calipers. Yours are the 100mm version aren’t they? I’ve been waiting for your caliper video ever since I mentioned mine to you a few weeks ago. I’ve got the 108mm PZ001 nickel version from Matt. I haven’t forgotten to post pics on your page like you asked, I just haven’t fitted them yet. They’re still in the box 🙄
Wow you have a great memory, yes mine is the 100mm which are more suited for Italian bikes In 48 hours I will have the accosato video That’s full of technical information Not for the faint hearted but I can tell you will love it
Yes mate, there wasn’t a need to remove PC5 but when things go wrong you start simplifying things and part of that was to remove it . Now only Akrapovic Aprilia race map on ECU Nothing fancy And bike feels fine
Learnt it the hard way Nial, never again .. to be honest the Assen trip was a last minute thing and TBR performance support a BSB supersport GP2 team so they were busy in racing too but glad I managed to sort it .. lesson learnt though
The drama 🙈, it's always something crazy simple We had a mate taking a S1000RR apart in Spain after it wouldn't run. It was a batch of dodgy fuel and we only realised when some others bikes started falling in the paddock Hope Assen was fun!
Omggg lol FUEL !!!!! That would have been so so frustrating then hilarious Honestly , we were just so shocked , because the lock wire looked tight but it wasn’t , to be honest I should have put new lock wire after 5.5 years … it just untied a bit and that’s all the slack it needed to cause havoc 🙈
@@ChasingTenths Yep we were all scratching heads at first! Nice to see your back on the bike. I've been missing the content!. Any more days planned this year? Bunch of us have Snetterton planned £59 quid 30th Oct, then it's a long wait until Almeria in Feb.
@@LowsideLew wow £59 lol That’s cheaper than Mallory in November I did in 2017 lol I might have Aaragon and Andalusia in November but only if budget permits otherwise I will sell my slots mate.. thanks for appreciating the content , I lost my Mojo lately Lewis but people like yourself encourage me .. so definitely more content on its way
Glad things worked out for you in the end. I also have a PCV that pretty much only serves as a QS since I have an ECU flash now. All together, it's PCV+Autotune+IRC QS Sensor+QS Expansion Module. Looking to replace all of that with the IRC QS kit to clean things up and remove all of those potential points of failure.
That’s a great point actually I truly wanted to get rid of all that extra stuff, so many wires , it looked really untidy under the seat , Aprilia RSV4 is a very tightly packed bike and doesn’t like any extra wires Already the IRC blipper wiring is too too much You will love the IRC , it’s been great for me
Honestly Mark, I was so glad that it was a minor issue When they did the open heart surgery of the wiring and gubbins I was so upset that it’s something major
@@ChasingTenths i thought it might of been the mapping on the exhaust you had at first . I had a similar power dropping off at high RPM on my Daytona last year I found out once on track . The previous owner fitted a scorpion exhaust but had standard map so ran to lean. Once I Put a second hand arrow exhaust and the correct arrow map runs well . You bike must of been the opposite running to rich and at rpm to high rpm for the air flow with value closed back pressure. Gos to show only so much testing can be done on the road without risking losing your license..
@@marksmith8663 that is such a good point I honestly thought it was the map fighting with a previous map or power commander but it was such a silly lame problem But I totally understand what you mean
@@Errol.C-nz hahaha. Mate, I put my mic to mono rather than stereo . It’s even worse at the end of the video where I forgot to plug the mic in altogether lol 😂 School boy error 🙈
