So for me, when I started using the Dyson my curls would last half a day. I've tried so so many things and this works for my dark-blonde long medium thick hair: - Wash your hair, don't use too much conditioner - Blow dry to 95% dry on medium heat, make sure your hair on top is dry - put your hair up into a high ponytail - take a small section of hair (for me it's about 15 strands in total) and brush that small section through, hold it with two fingers and spray some hairspray on it - use the big barrel for 30 secs, then the cool shot for 30 secs. Let it fall down, so it rests a little on top if your head (looks weird but then it doesn't strech out!) - after 5 strands done, spray some hairspray on them. Then continue with the other 5 and repeat. - after all the strands, let them rest for a minute, take out your elastic and calmly comb through with your fingers. I do this two times a week and my curls last for 2-3 days ❤ And for the Dutch people here- don't go biking with your hair becausr that will ruin it. If you have to, put it in a bun. The wind is your enemy 💯❤️

Dear Alana, I adore you and your videos. You are the reason why my curls hold until next hair wash (minimum 4 days to 6 days). Love the video! I heard someone mention not to use the cold shot as it cools the barrel down too much between each piece of hair so the next piece doesnt heat up enough to set the curl, do you find this happen to you?

I do have Ulta points I would like to use for an airwrap. They have the Vinca blue but not the Prussian blue which is my first choice. 😊 do you think I should wait for the next color to come out? Like the holiday one? Thank you for your wonderful videos. 😊

Anyone else find the case it comes in to be awkward. The outside is well built & luxurious looking. Inside it has those cardboard holder sections. Are people using it like that, or pulling the cardboard out? Serious question, Id love to know, just got mine & Im undecided.

I’ll take it! I’m disabled with nerve problems in my hands. I can get by most days with things I have to do, but blowing out with a brush and then gripping and twirling a curling iron isn’t something I’ve been able to do for over five years.

Same it doesn’t hold a curl in my hair no matter how much I’ve tried every RU-vid trick there is. It just falls flat leaving a slight wave. I didn’t pay $600 for a wave.

Not a great video. Didn’t give me that much information on how to use the Dyson or what products I could use to ensure that the style I wanted came out well. Would have like this to have more information in it.
