@@charlesrodriguez7984 I can't argue with that. I just purchased three vacuums. Oreck Elevate Conquer, Dyson Animal 3 Absolute, and Dyson Outsize Absolute cordless. I love the Dyson's but the Oreck really leaves a lot to be desired. The Animal 3 is fantastic with any and all attachments you can think of. The Outsize Absolute literally is good enough to be my only vacuum. If I wasn't such an addict for vacuums I would just keep my Dysons and sell everything else I have.
Nooooooo Parwaz it’s not lol. The UK version with articulated handle and aluminum wand is the best latest Dyson upright available (when one can buy it here as always out of stock).
You did a great review, and I have bought this because I have pets and needed the best and your review showed me all the way to use it , and every review I have watched on it as said this is the best and does the greatest job and best dyson and other vaccums . I had a Dyson D17 for about 17 years and just now had an issue so I knew I would go Dyson again
Just bought the vacuum, assembled it (with help from the video!) and it works and sucks like crazy! However, it is a bear to use on my low pile carpet. And yes, I have it on the correct pile adjustment setting. And using the wand & hose is challenging, heavy and unwieldy. Only had it one day and already I'm thinking this may not be the vacuum for me...and I was so excited to receive it.
Awesome video! Love the brushroll design on the Dyson. The brushroll design is similar to the one on my shark rotator lift away zero-m., one exception is that the suction control is on the hose.
I bought the animal 3 extra, love it, sucks like a ... can't wait to brush our longcoat shepherd with the pet tool. Great review and fair. If one has dog hair the price tag will be well worth it.
This is a nice vacuum cleaner, I like the color! Yet, I'm a bit surprised that Dyson is still making corded machines, when I thought they were going completely cordless, interesting. Wonderful review! Also Ruby is so cute!!
@charlesroItsdriguez7984 Surely some other reason, not everyone will want that cordless model. I don't like the way you have to hold that big giant heavy piece with the dust can in order to use the attachments. I'm sure it might be harder for people with carpal tunnel, arthiritis, etc., So I prefer the upright and just being able to use attachments to the hose or wand.
Shouldn't you leave the brush roll on while using on hard floors? New brush roll has same type of design as the cordless vacs and those are used with brush spinning.
Hi, can you please let me know if the handle at the top moves in and out a tiny bit when pushing back and fourth? Like it does on the DC40 ERP mk2 that I have.
I just got one and I hate it the stair tool is crap because the hose will not stay extended it would take two people one to vacuum and one to keep the hose from sucking up into the machine
The best Dyson 3 review!!! Thank you! Is it worth paying $50 extra for the extra tools that come with the Dyson Ball Animal 3 Complete? I don't see any other difference than the extra tools.
That is the goal, but my budget doesn't currently allow purchase of that machine. Buying this alone wasn't insignificant. But it is definitely on the to do list!
I set slider at __ for flat floor according to manual. It was too much suction power to move it. 😅 I had to set slider at middle. Were I misunderstanding?
Can you do a great comparison difference between the animal ball 2 and this one the 3. Like side to side comparison kinda like you did with the turbine and upholstery tool kinda like that but with the 2 units.
Just had my Dyson animal 3 mk1 facelift replaced lasted two years cracked spine no quibbles Dyson replaced still the best hoover on the market in my opinion the articulated wand is a hidden gem shame you Americans don’t get it with your Dyson 🇮🇪🏴🇬🇧
If I get a new vacuum it’ll probably be the animal 2 since the animal 3 is extremely expensive and the animal 2 has more agitation. The animal 3 is still a fantastic dyson and the animal 2 and totall clean are still a great option.
The motor is inside the brushroll, the brushroll is very wide and diameter and hollow on the inside so the motor has enough space to spin gears that spin the brusgroll
I'm going to have to stay with the animal ball 2 due to head size. The 3 is alot smaller than the 2. Why they made the 3 with a smaller head.....no idea. fail lol.
The smaller head is actually better. I touch on this in the review. There's no blind spot between the brushrolls and it fits into smaller spaces, as well as has a more efficient airflow design. The 3 is much better
Definitely the Dyson for dogs, we have 2 GOD'S, 1 short coat, 1 long and while waiting for animal3 to arrive 1 1/2 weeks went by. Used it yesterday and we are hairless, suction is awesome !
@@IntellitechStudiosI wouldn’t say it’s junk just not as serviceable. Which is a con in my opinion. I’d buy an NV352 instead as it’s far more serviceable than newer shark vacuums.
Replace that filter every year?! Geeez. Their filters used to be washable then the last model I bought was filterless it claimed to filter itself now to these replacable filters?! Ugh, thats really annoying and pricey.
The filters are washable, I just recommend reaplcimg the hepa filter specifically since it doesn't wash well in my experience. But you can get generic packs of filters for $20 on Amazon, I recommend that over Dyson genuine
Notice how this is a man hoding the hose so that it will stay extended while he vacuums with his other hand I dont have the upper body strength to keep the hose from retracting into the machine if I keep this it will be to vacuun my dog
It's ridiculous how strong the suction is when trying to manure the hose along with the attachments. I have had a Dyson dc-18 slim and have loved it for years. No comparison to this- someone referred to it as a boa constrictor. True! I can't see it changing with a lot of use.
