dunno if anyone gives a damn but yesterday I hacked my girl friends Instagram account by using InstaPlekt. Cant link here so search for it on google enjoy!
That’s something I’ve always liked about dysons is their. Hose wand set up flip the cap pull the wand and the hose and everything is ready to go but with other vacuums you have to pull the hose and fumble with the wands
Hello! I bought the multi floor 2 but I have noticed that when I’m behind it he left side of the ball where the filter is gets hot did u notice this on yours? Thanks! Iv read that it can do that but wanted to double check!
Hello, I just bought the same Dyson Ball and I have a question, is it normal that the hose wand works at the same time that the vacuum head, even though you are not using the hose?
No. It sounds like you have a clog in it. When the machine is in the upright standing (locked in) position it flips a door underneath that transfers sucking to the hose wand 'handle' part. When you pull the wand hose handle down to begin vacuuming the floor it switches the door to transfer suction to the roller head. If you hear or feel suction from the hose as your vacuuming the floor it means the door is stuck. Although this vacuum has great sucking power its 'mechanic's' suck! Do not suck up a quarter because you will spend eternity trying to dislodge it!! Typically I find that just about anything you suck up with the hose other than dirt or hair will get stuck in the door mechanism. Qtips, paper clip, Lego, tiny twigs you name it I've had it get stuck. The tell tale signs will be that the vacuum won't stay upright when you try to lock it in. This explains the object getting trapped by something huge but doesn't show the flap door. Typically if the object is small it's a total pain trying to get it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jh6KJQaBCsY.html I would suggest taking off the dirt canister, the wand and hose. lay it on its side and then slowly cocking it upright and flat using the rear wheels(shown at 11:20 in this video) to see the flap door. Once you find the door, carefully check with your fingers to see if something is wedged inside there.
Out of this new one and ur vacuum similar to this one, which would u buy again? I’m going back and fourth between which to purchase. Online the purple one is like 150 more bucks than ur orange one! I appreciate ur very good review!
Okay thanks! I vacuum everyday and they only dysentery I own is the DC33! Which I do love but it’s not like it used to be and I need a upgrade. The Hepa filter in the side is tripping me out on the orange one cause I don’t want it to blow out dust that will make my room dusty again after Iv dusted. Does the purple one blow the air back out? Also vacuum lines are very important to me! 😂😩
@@ashleyguantes7725 The HEPA filter on the side isn't an issue on this model Dyson. The Ball Multi-Floor 2 or Slim Ball are a huge jump in performance over the DC33, so I think you'll be impressed with either. They also both leave nice carpet lines.
@@VacTech1 You're not missing out on much lol, except the DC04 is a pretty cool model, I recommend you try importing one (from manchestervacs they can I'm sure), I'm confident a Dc07 motor will fit
@@VacTech1 I hope you do one day! I'm envious of a lot of US Dysons and other vacuums like the windtunels, Fantoms, Riccars, the simple Panasonics, etc!
the tools at the opposite end,I have jammed my wand by putting the tools in opposite ends of the wand, now I can’t get them back of again. Could someone please help me ?
Oh no! They’ll probably just need to be pulled off by force. Hopefully you won’t need to replace the wand (if it cracked or got damaged). Hope you can get it!
To spend that much on a vacuum and I can't use it on all my carpets, dyson must have lost their minds with this horrible vacuum.. I returned mine and got a Shark Apex Zero M.. One of the best vacuums I ever owned that thing works on any floor plus you can quickly turn it into a canister easily while vacuuming then right back to an upright I should have chose that before I waisted my time and money with the dyson.. Thats how versatile a vacuum should be in 2020 not some bulky ball that prevents me from simply cleaning under my coffee table and bed.. 🙄 This vacuum design is becoming outdated because people want the most convenient quick cleaning experience not having to keep hooking up the hose attachments just to get under a bed quickly because the vacuums to big to fit... thats why I LOVE the lift away feature on my shark.. 😍 Dyson flopped on this product I'm sorry just being honest.. 😬 I wouldn't be mad if this vacuum cost 199 but instead is over priced for the lack of performance.. smfh..😑
YES!!!! ^^^^^^^^^ ...what she said. OMG I got a vacuum that is unusable on any of my area rugs/ carpet. I have a 12 year old dc26 and still love it. But this monster animal 2 sucks soooo hard. Tooo hard for carpet. There are many home-made fix-it yourself tricks to reduce the suction, but, my GOD. Dyson has really shocked me with this super suction beast. I plan on slapping someone at Dyson asap. I had so much troubles with other Shark appliances so I swore not to buy Shark. . I was wrong.
I love this vac. It can suck the dimples off a golf ball. But perhaps you can help me. The brush bar is not spinning. I pulled off any hair and string, thread etc. Made sure the electrical connections are touching and have the carpet brush button depressed...No spin. I bought this about a year ago have used it very little. I don't know. Anything you can suggest. By the way, good video.
Does the brush bar spin freely by hand (it's not locked up)? Does the brush bar spin at all, then kick off? If it doesn't do anything, you may have an electrical issue (one of two switches, wiring, or brush bar motor). It could be something simpler, but it's hard to say. I would contact Dyson customer service, as that issue will be covered by your warranty.
@@VacTech1 Thank you for getting back to me. In answer to your question, no the brush bar does not lock up. I can spin it freely. I'm beginning to think it is an electrical problem. It worked fine the last time I used it, which I'm embarrassed to say, was a couple months ago. It was working when I pulled it out the other day. I turned it off to go to another room, turned it back on and that's when I realized the brush had stopped because it got difficult to push. What do ya think? Thanks again.
Someone has probably asked but, for a $50 difference, which would you say is better, this Dyson Animal Vacuum, or their Dyson Vacuum 2 original model? Thank you and cheers!
The Ball Animal 2 is larger and has a larger dirt bin, as well as a longer cord. The Multi Floor 2 is identical except for the longer cord, and different crevice tool. They're all nice versatile machines, so it's really up to preference!
I'm sorry to hear that. Dyson's models are all different, and they're not created equal. I tried to cover all the benefits and drawbacks of this particular Dyson in the vid.
We don’t need more powerful machines as the machines available produce power far in excess of the wattages. They are more efficient and work better now.
I’m having a hard time getting the extender back into the vacuum. Do you know if this has been an issue with other users or am I doing something wrong?
As long as there's no blockages in the hose, you push the button on the hose, the wand will nest inside it, and the end of the wand has to line up just so with the vacuum handle (there's guides on the handle the wand slots into).. I hope this helps!
As long as there's no blockages, the wand will nest inside the hose, and the red part of the handle has slots that mate inside the main handle. I hope this helps! If it doesn't call Dyson, as something is wrong.
Great video! I don’t care for Dyson or most bagless vacs generally, but I have the multifloor 2 as well and I do love the aggressive brush bar. It helps make that vac my best bagless carpet cleaner. What I wouldn’t give for these uprights to have the self cleaning shroud as well.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah I have that model as well, and that cleaner head makes a huge difference. I would also like a second row of brushes, but Dyson's gonna' Dyson.
It's not a quiet vacuum by any means. Is it making any abnormal rattling sounds, or sound like it's clogged? Otherwise the loud running noise is normal.
It does rattle and I actually just bought it (a few hours ago) 😩 I thought it’s probably because I tried it on carpet first but then I switched to hardwood floors and although the rattling stops, it’s still pretty loud. 😒
Haha I like it, but I tried to cover all its drawbacks. It's not perfect, but I think it's fun to use, and I like the versatility. Thanks for watching!
Would you know if Dyson makes a canister vacuum that you’d recommend? I just bought this same upright and find it to be very awkward and heavy and not very user friendly. I also don’t like that not all the attachments can fit to the machine and that, ultimately, those remain loose. Another con is it’s loose cord, as I prefer the retractable option a canister offers. However, I do like that it’s bagless and especially like the power. I paid a price similar to yours and am on a hunt for the best overall value. Any advice?
Dyson's extra tools are not made to store on the machine. I use a bin to store the extra tools. In terms of canister options, I would recommend the brand Sebo or Miele, as the canister offerings from those brands are far superior to Dyson's current offerings (which I sadly wouldn't recommend). Sebo and Miele vacuums are an investment, but worthwhile, if you really want a canister vacuum. If you have carpeting, be sure to get a model with an electric power head. I hope you find something you really like! I made a video months ago of a Miele Compact C2 Electro Plus cleaner. Maybe that's the right cleaner for you!
