You are gorgeous! I already use the Dyson air warp with the comb attachment to blow dry and I love it. You’ve convinced me to get the flatiron! It seems to be gentler on the hair over time which is important as a natural who wears my hair straight 95% of the time.
Thanks, friend! I’ve thought about it but I’m not confident it will work on my hair. Lol I may do a video just for demonstration purposes. Thanks for the interest!
Beautiful hair sis So how often do you wash and straightening you hair because my hair is long like yours and your want to continue to from my hair to my shoulders give me some tips sis
Thanks, Sis! I straighten my hair once a week. (Usually every Friday) I go to a professional stylist for all hair cuts, trims, and coloring when necessary. I deep condition with each wash day routine and always use multiple heat protectants. Hope this helps.
Love all the tips!! I have all the Dyson hair tools and they are game changers for my hair! My hair is natural but it is highlighted so I’m especially gentle or at least I try to be. You mentioned protein for hair several times but I’m not sure how would I know my hair needs protein or has too much? Also, I try to work out at least 4 days out of the week so any tips on maintaining hair so it doesn’t frizz up? I put in a high bun or two ponytails and use a gym wrap to protect hair around my hairline but it never seems to return to its previous state without me taking my Airwrap and hitting it with a cool shot.
Thanks, sis! I usually do protein treatments after color processes. Or when my hair seems a little more dull or limp than usual. I mainly use moisturizing treatments with protein occasionally. I wrap my hair around and wear a hat. I use a neck fan on high speed and I feel like it dries the sweat before my edges can revert. 🤷🏾♀️
@@TheTessaStewart I just got a neck fan, game changer!!! Appreciate the suggestion in when to use protein treatments. I hear about protein overload and wondered if I were using too much protein. I don’t think I have overload but it’s good to know when I should use more protein. Love all the tips!!!!
Try the amino smoothing treatment. I just got one that will last me 8 weeks and it was the best decision ever!. My hair is shiny, healthy, and manageable
You’re welcome! I actually don’t wear braids often. Last year was the first year because of all of the travel I was doing. I straighten my hair once a week. It’s my go to style. Hope this helps.
Hi! Yes. It does stay straight as long as I don’t get it wet or around steam. I don’t have heat damage but I do have tension breakage around my edges and bang area from braids and constantly wearing tight ponytails. I’ve been trying to avoid braids and ponytails for this reason.
Sure. I’ll try to Vlog the next time I get it done. I go to a professional for color. I color my hair quarterly. It all depends. Lol I’m not sure of the name of the brush. I’ve had it a long time.
Thank you for the the video/videos and updates. Truly, what is the point of spending an arm and a leg on such n expensive product to only be able to 'do one pass per section, two passes the most' this just means the claims it doesn't damage the hair are incorrect :S
@@TheTessaStewart ok! Thank you! 🙏🏾 I am going to slowly get the tools/products your recommend. I am a lazy natural. I slick my hair in a bun daily. But if you saying this only took an hour. I am going to try to be more consistent with my flatirons.
If I can advise you, use a round soft brush when you blow dry your hair it will keep your hair soft and healthy. Use Wood Boar Round Brush I get from Sally's and my favorite blow dryer I have been using forever is Super Solano they last forever made in Italy. I have been using for almost 40 years both brush and blow dryer
Mine still works🤷🏾♀️. Most times I rest the flat iron in the cradle between passes. Maybe that’s what helps keep mine from dying but I still can get through my entire routine before it dies.
