I still use my DC35 that I bought in 2012 every day. Every few years I treat myself to a fresh battery and it continues to work flawlessly even though it’s been through hell and back.

Seems you didn’t test the trigger for the V11 as mine has broken 3 times and have had it replaced under warrenty each time… it the small piece of plastic you place your finger on when you pull the trigger.

I had to laugh when Engineered to Last came up on the screen. That may have been so for early models but the ones now are anything but.

All this testing, I have 2 fluffy floor tool, broke at the same spot the plastic rod attach to the bearing(on the removable side) which connect to the roller And after all these testing, you have your v10 switch plastic break at around the same spot too

I found a Dyson Dc41 gave it a clean and it's like new

How about testing the software so it doesn't give a filter error message every 5 minutes on a $700 vacuum

I own 2 Dyson vacuums, a DC 42 upright that works just fine and a V10 handheld that is a showcase for great design dragged down by cheap unreliable materials, the company has tried to help even though its out of warranty but good intentions don't make up for poor materials/durability.

Notice how you don't see the Upright Ball vacuums in this new durability video. I miss the upright ball vacuums. I'd like to see them make improvements on the a bit longer before they phase them out completely.

I never had used Dyson before but just fall in cause of this video. When every appliance companies focus on the ability of machines, Dyson focuses on reliability.

We purchased a V12 vacuum cleaner on November 5, 2022 from Dyson Turkey. On February 13, 2024, we ordered a replacement wand assy 706 mm nk tube for the broken one. They assured us it would be covered by the warranty and said it would be delivered to our address within 2-3 days, but the product did not reach us. When we reached them by phone, they said they would have to wait for a while because it was not in stock. Every time we called, they kept saying it was expected to arrive by the end of this month. It has been 3 months, and today when we called again, they said it is planned to arrive by the end of May or June. In short, we cannot use the vacuum cleaner. We haven't bought a new vacuum cleaner because they kept saying it would arrive shortly. What can be said about a company that cannot provide after-sales support for a product purchased from its own original website? Buying a Dyson is regrettable!

They say this yet the month my Dyson V11's warranty expired the locking mechanism broke so every time I empty it I have to hold it in a special way to keep the container from falling off into the trash bin...

My dc59 is still going strong after all these years. I did have to replace the battery, but other than that it's still good as new

I own lots of Dyson products. The bristle brushes and plastic need to be anti-static. Please test this stuff out not only for durability but also with dogs with white hair it'll be super easy to tell when you have it figured out. Sometimes I spend more time cleaning the vacuum then cleaning up the mess LOL

Bought a Dyson DC14 back in 04, still going strong. Dyson uprights are reliable and last a long time, but their cordless ones suck. We had a V7 Animal+ bought in 2018, and a few days ago the post motor filter on the back snapped off. They don’t make them like they used to I guess.

My dc-44 is completely broken. Bought a v10 and Dyson apologised after 8 days saying they didn’t get my order…. Now wait 7 more days. Business days, lol

This is all well and good but it's F-cking Impossible to get replacement parts from you folks. We've been waiting 6 months for a wand for a V6 because the wand we have is in-op. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!

Our Dyson vacuum cleaner doesn't work anymore. After a few months it couldn't continuously create suction. It kept turning on and off again and again. One second on and one second off. Became pretty much useless.

Size with storage matters, nobody wants 2 separate machines for dry and wet cleaning. Therefore, Dyson is nowadays obsolete - overslept evolution. More importantly, hygienically is wet mopping more important as any dry vacuuming, wondering how such a company could miss that point over past years. Philips, tineco, karcher, roborock, bissell and many others now lead for all-in-one solutions.

I feel very disappointed with the quality of the trigger as it stopped working after a while and the whole V11 vacuum became totally dead and useless. There is no repair center in Egypt and I got stuck after paying loads of money

Garantiden karşılayacaklarını söyleyip 2-3 gün içerisinde adresimize teslim edeceklerini söylediler; ancak söz konusu ürün elimize ulaşmadı. Telefonla ulaştığımızda stoklarında olmadığı için bir süre bekleteceklerini söylediler. Her aradığımızda, bu ay sonu gelmesi bekleniyor diyerek sürekli oyaladılar. 3 ay oldu, bugün yine aradığımızda mayıs veya haziran sonu gelmesi planlanıyor diyerek konuşmayı sonlandırdılar. Kısaca süpürgeyi kullanamıyoruz. Sürekli kısa süre içerisinde gelecek dedikleri için de yeni bir süpürge almadık. Kendi orijinal sitesinden satın aldığımız ürünün satış sonrası desteğini sağlayamayan bir firmaya ne denebilir ki? Dyson almak pişmanlıktır!

Still way overpriced

This is rubbish, my Dyson's V11 (which lasted two years) trigger broke, which they knew had a weakness because other companies seen the fault, strengthened the trigger, and made it available everywhere to replace something Dyson obviously overlooked. Another issue with their V11-V15 range is their thin trigger guards, which is just a thin piece of plastic sticking out below the trigger. This broke on mine! I later on found plenty of other people had the same damage whilst vacuuming. Dyson are good at promising the earth, with their slick video Commercials. However, this is far from the truth .300 hundred people testing for ware and longjevity in each part, but missed these simple basic things. You have 300 people who need to be sacked.
