Dystonia Awareness Patient Story - UT Medical Center 

As part of Dystonia Awareness Month, we wanted to share Lea's inspiring patient story. Cervical Dystonia is a movement disorder that causes the muscles to contract involuntarily. Lea's life had become severely compromised due to this condition. Lea and her family came to the Cole Center at UT Medical Center, where the multidisciplinary neurology team were able to support and treat her with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
