Anyone care to share their personal experience? My eyes have been gazing upon the 804d3, I'm only hesitant in purchasing because my current speakers are dynaudio c1. I don't want to lose transparency only to gain bass I really don't need. Any suggestions?

Well to be honest, this recording is quite forward and bright.. even on Dynaudio c1 platinum matched w marantz sa-11s3 source, both of which are a bit mellow sounding. While this recording highlights treble, I wouldnt exactly say its a good example of how any certain number of loudspeakers would sound for the majority of source material
B&W is known for the 800 series diamond tweeter. Some hate how harsh bad recordings sound but good ones really come alive with that super precise tweeter. It's not rolled off so it's as sparcly as you can get it without overdoing it.
