Hey Les not only another awesome video but it helped me decide to purchase a RR6+ in the new year. Already ordered QuikrStuff rack. Will opt for step-thru model but bike will largely mirror your set up showcased in an older video, which was extremely informative. I fish many of the same spots including WE quite a bit and it was great to see the bike make it through the soft to semi-soft stuff. After a full season using your bike can you share any other feedback? Any issues with rust? Did you rinse the bike after every surfcasting outing? Also, do you drop tire pressure? Thanks again and apologies for many questions.

Yeah I like the step thru model for fishing since wearing waders and boots makes it a little trickier to get back on. Maybe if I get enough referrals I’ll get one lol. I do try to rinse the bike off and blow it off with air when I get home if I don’t plan on using the bike again soon. I remove the battery and don’t put it back in for 24 hours for safety. I use lightning dry lube for the chain. Chain has very little rust if you do this. Drop psi in front to 15-20 back 10-15 you can experiment but I find too low in front and the wheel will oversteer on pavement. Enjoy your new bike!

I'll look out for upcoming sales in the new year and if I find a buy one get second at half off promo I'll keep you in mind so you can switch to a Step-Thru haha. I’ve been combing through your videos lately and I love your rod and reel setup but I can’t find any videos on it. Is this setup something you plan on keeping long term and is it good for south shore and occasional montauk fishing in your opinion? Been lurking for a while but kinda a noob

I actually have a few rod and reel setups. I try to list them in the description. I have four GSB surf rods. 8’, two 9’ ones L and ones M, and a 10’. You’re probably referring to one of the 9’ ones as those are the two I use the most. The 9’ Medium can handle everything but I like to use the 9’ Light in the back bays and North shore or when smaller fish are around. I use a Visser No. 4 with the 9L and a VSX150 with the 9M. I’ve been using both combos for over 3 years and plan to continue to use them since they have been very reliable. For Montauk I go with the 9’M or 10’ but lately haven’t been using my 10 much. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much. I’m actually referring to the Lamiglas GSB101LS 10' with the vsx150. I loved the idea of a lighter setup and was wondering if that fits a decent amount of your south shore needs?

Yeah that would cover anything you need lure wise in the south shore and more. Kinda long for back bays though although it would work.

Although the AR Grizzly works great on Sand with it's dual motors I don't want to get it all Sandy, I use it for going out places locally so it's nice to be able to use a clean bike. Also the fenders aren't full coverage like my RR6+ so sand flys up more. Also I don't want to have any of the parts rust. The salt water misty air makes components on the bike rust like the chain. I didn't install rod holders or baskets on the bike to keep it clean looking and lighter. Lastly the bar in the center is higher so when you have waders and wading boots on it's hard to get back on the bike. Most people use Step Thru's which make it way easier.

Also the RR6+ 26" tires are smoother and more efficient on the sand then 20" tires on my Grizzly.
