Don't forget to turn on the motor temp. Very nice to know how hot it's getting to avoid shutdown. It's probably similar to my Wired which shuts down when the motor temp is up to around 290°f. I usually pull over and let it cool down at about 250 or so. Enjoy your new bike!
You heard it from a Wired owner. ….Shuts down when controller gets hot. Wait by the side of the road til it kooools off. Is that what you spent $2500 on when you could have bought an E-Cells 5 Star for $2000 and still be cruising.
Why this bike doesn't come with a chainstay protector, is a crying shame! A great looking bike with nice paint job, and it gets scratched after only a few miles of riding. How was that overlooked?
Mr. Trail, Will You be attending The Electrify Expo in Long Beach on June 1 and 2??? E-Cells E-bikes and owner David Cleveland will be there with his full line of E-bikes. A chance for folks to meet David, ask questions, and Test Ride E-Cells full line of E-bikes. Have Fun at The Expo!!!
@@jfly2249Someone was wondering if you're the owner or CEO of Wired Ebikes? I've heard from several people that Ecells has great customer service. That's before and after purchase.
Mann Wired and ecells have been going at it wired has upgraded there bike with and extra battery attached to rear rack still for the price of $1999.00! 👍
I would like to know that as well. I ordered the 17 inch frame with 24 in wheels as I'm 5.5. But wondering if I could have gotten away with the 26-inch Wheels
nice,id say you sold me being rough with it lol. no other peeps do this type stuff, they just ride it. i wonna see jumps, going in ditches etc etc etc lol
I placed an order 2 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten so much as a confirmation, I was charged immediately however! This company isn’t off to a good start!
Gold anodized wheels on this one or you can get various colors like orange if you go to their site and do some clicking and scrolling. The gold looks much better than the orange painted.
That placement of that cable on top of the (moving)rear shock , is just terrible . While i like the e-bike itself , there is no way I would purchase until that was more professionally installed . If i ended up having enough to purchase i would get the dual battery version with 203mm front and rear rotors . E-bikes that heavy and capable of high speed should be no less then 203mm .
Those cables have never been replaced because of wear outside the pivots, in 5 years of use on our SUPER MONARCH bikes. That's how the bike is engineered.
@@e-cells2222 i wish there was more videos of the monarch bikes .... debating on the dual e-bike or the AWD? can a 5'5 guy handle the AWD Monarch. not even sure what the size is on it 17"?
i'm quite pleased with my blue freedom, the tig welds & intricate frame fabrication trumps the five star frame, though the bikes seem quite similar overall..
Thou the bike is awesome, and it really is, I can't recommend E-cells because of its customer service. At least when you are a foreigner. The owner treated me horribly after some time. He decided at some point he was not going to sell to me. Only cause I had to ask for their IBAN/SWIFT codes (which is bank info needed to international purchases) to pay the guy. My bank said i need those to pay and i can prove that. The owner literally said he wasn't in the mood of selling to me and even blocked me on Whatsapp so i we couldn't talk anymore. Who does that? Hope eveyone else has a better experience or just look for a company that really value their consumers. Great video mate, all the luck to you. Also poor squirrel 😭
Google the Owner and you’ll find a carnival barker, ex con, former mobile home salesman and realize the e cell story is a complete fraud. 11 years in jail and several more on home confinement he fails to mention in his bio.
@@e-cells2222 You also are not willing to find any solution to help your customer. For me to use my credit card I needed those info, my bank manager said it was the only way. I showed it to you, remember? You just didn't care. What a good customer service
@@z-best8003 I did it. It didn't work. The banks here block international purchases that have high value. I NEEDED the IBAN/Swift codes cause we also don't use cashier's check anymore. It's not my choice. Things work the way the work
