You can certainly do what you want . . . but I would recommend backing up and using a plain old trainer aircraft - with soft, wire gear and PRACTICE a lot of touch and goes / landings with that aircraft. Once you get your skills sharper so that you can put that plane exactly where you want it to be with all of your landings - and you consistently come in and touch down very lightly for really soft landings with it . . . then your other planes will be a lot easier to get good landings with & you will not have to worry much about damaging / dinging your good airplanes. PS - I practice my landings a lot ! And I really like the idea of nice, gentle landings with all of my planes. Good luck.
