I just bought the SU-47 from Banana Hobby. I have not heard hardly any good things about Banana Hobby planes, customer service, quality control, etcetera, but I didn't have any issues and they were actually very good about working with me. I have to admit that I was super worried but it turned out just fine. Except my thrust is a fraction of what it needs to be. The fans are great. That means the motors and/or the ESC are the issue. I would love to see you do a video about it because I think it is a very cool plane that deserves more attention. I also would like to hear someone's opinion who is more experienced at building than me. Keep up the good work!

If you haven't yet, you should inspect the elevator push rod. The pushrod is long, and it was unsupported (and bowing significantly when in compression (UP Elevator)) in my EFLite 190. I replaced it with a 2-56 push rod. Just FYI.

Nice review. Received mine three days ago. Upon building I wasn't able to get the flaps to actuate. After hours of stepping back through my build and transmitter programming, I found the problem; the triple plug interface between the wing center section and the fuselage was making only sporadic contact. Jiggling the connection of the wires going from the plug to the receiver would cause intermittent cut-out of signal for the flaps and the landing gear. I opted to remove the plug plates altogether from the wing and fuselage and run the servo wires/extensions directly to the receiver. Viola! No more problem. Apparently, this is a known issue. It has been too windy to put this beautiful bird in the air, but I'm anxious to do so. As always, thanks much for sharing. Steve

Having seen this plane in store, I can say that it is beautifully finished is much more beautiful in real than in pictures. I almost bought it directly, I only held back because I feared for the solidity of the landing gear attachment for exclusive use on grass! So I'm waiting to see if there's any negative feedback on this before I go on to buy. Otherwise as usual a very nice presentation of this model, thank you! 😊

Great model and a good review - though I would prefer to see a warbird flown as a warbird rather than a "hot ship". ( I appreciate in maidens and early flights you are exploring the envelope, but still )

Ughh. I still can't get interested in these foam models. I have the 20cc FW190 and love that thing to death. Just something about foam that seems. IDK like cheap. Even though some of those models are very expensive. None the less. You have brought us another fantastic review!

A very good video. Just a shame that e-flite ruined the painting with these oversized dots.

I haven't seen anyone fly this plane on rough grass runways yet. I know the FMS models have weak retracts and if you turn on landing you can break the forks. Also wonder how long those wing clips will last.

i would put flickering LED´s into the fake muffler ends, would be cool if one could synch that with the engine RPM somehow ... it´s always messmerizing seeing that in war thunder wehn you play a dawn or dusk battle

Like always a good video. But this is not Oskar Bosch's color scheme, this is just a caricature of his .... No German plane has ever had this not at all camoflage painting ... Sorry! This is unfortunately a must to repaint ... so as not to be ashamed. Incredibly bad of e-flite not to make this painting better .... The painting is actually a bad copy of a poorly painted copy. (The Focke-Wulf model is based on a full-scale replica once owned by the late Rudy Frasca.Text from e-flite) If e-flite have made all dots smaller and a lot more of them. Than it have been a copy of Rudy's plane... Now it seems like painted by children.
