I love my Maule M7. Just put new wings on it with metal gear servos and clear coated the top of the wing with Minwax polyurethane. Non on the hinges . I fly my Maule on 3200 Smart packs and SMC Racing LIHV 3600 mAh 4s lipos. I also installed a Avian 60 amp ESC so I have telemetry. Only weakness is the landing gear bends often. Just bend them back into position and fly on.. 😊. Great video.

Absolutely. The blue shows up better than I thought. I know since the MPD commander is a color match!

That last landing brought forth a big chuckle but also another selling/buying point to me. The props are mounted high enough that when tipped on the nose, they are protected. I love the extra lights!! Two questions. 1. What is the white stuff in the background? 2. Is there a way to disable one motor, after liftoff and with level flight, to show us the effects and how to handle it? Thanks for the big chuckle!!

1 that is a field of yearling orange trees being protected from the summer bugs. 2 I take it you want me to do a dead stick landing? This plane has only 1 motor.

@@FatGuyFliesRC My apologies please. my fault entirely! I just recently found your channel and have been watching all your videos and put those questions on the wrong video. I had been watching the Twin Timbers video and saw the plane nose over at the end and your reversed the props and made it go backwards, still in the nose down attitude, without damaging the props, thus eliciting a big chuckle. I know on the real twins, when they suddenly lose an engine, some quick adjustments must be made and I was wondering if you could intentionally duplicate that in flight and teach us to recognize and recover from that situation should it occut. A dead stick landing would be an option unless you needed to bring it back home to save the plane. Thank you for so many great videos and your honest opinions!!

Well I am at present out of ready videos and this was the last ready video I had to upload. It is hard to keep fresh content going when your grounded but overtime at work and crappy weather.

@@FatGuyFliesRC well I enjoy watching that’s for sure. I had to retire about 18 months due to a back injury back in 2000. So the overtime is done for me but the bad weather and waiting’s for surgery prevents me from flying. I’m new to the hobby but really enjoy it. My biggest plane is the carbon cub s2 but not to often I turn off the gyro. Im not an advanced pilot at all. I tried three different simulators and couldn’t get them to work so I bought a new computer thinking that was my problem but I must be missing something because I can’t get them working. The height of my batteries that I would use in this model has 10mm more height than your 4s 3200mah. Would my battery allow the hatch to be put on properly?
