I got the Maule and I just started RC flying. Couple of crashes, but got her flying good now. Made some custom skis for the snow as well. She ain't pretty, but she is a tough one. Hot glue, CA is a good fixer-upper.

Praise: I am not interested in flying a fixed wing let alone buying one but I keep watching your reviews. They just make me happy. If I had to suggest something it would be: Do what you do best and break some stuff. PS.: If you would test some planes that lack short take-off capabilities you would need a larger area, like a golf course or something... ;-)

Excellent to see. What lipo size did you use ? Are you wings straight ? cos mine are are a bit curved. For me... I don't enjoy seeing a brand new plane being put at risk by a quad flying THAT close. Still, nice to see a video resembling a review. I also think that the wing attachment system is a bit of a backward step. Mr Bixler, what do you think ?

Had to go to the V.A. for my bi-annual check up, and between getting blood work done and of coarse the piss test, I went down to the Hobby shop to look around, Flight Test is famous! I was wearing one of your Flight Test Shirts and I was recognised as I true hobbyist! Asked how often I watch your uploads, Told the store manager, "as often as they upload"! I found myself smiling all the way through this video. Everything from Alex's quad flying to the excitement in the way the plane handles made this a great video. Great to see some off the shelf planes being put through the paces. Thanks guys.

Does the ASM 3 work with FRSky recievers or is it only compatible with Spektrum? Does E-flite make a bind and fly version for FR Sky? I want to get one of these but don't want to have to replace my Taranis radio which has been heavily customized.

I am facing a dilemma- trying to go from smaller planes(26 inch wingspan) to larger planes(61 inch wingspan) and I don’t know which plane to go with. The E-Flite Timber or the E-Flite Maule M-7. I am also looking at(maybe) the 1.1m T-28. If you guys could please give advise it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!-Hayden Fisher

Just got a slightly used one for $100 a steal seller knows this. It needs a servo extension cable for the bid plug which I installed. HH now includes these in their BNF planes a nice touch. I got it at the flying field and did fly it but I did not prepare my radio before hand and did not know the CG! Flew fine anyway. I guessed right on the 4S 2200 battery location. Did not set up the flaps so will have to do that at home.

Hey, that pilot is multi-talented. He also pilots my FMS Cessna 182 with his identical brother sitting next to him, each with different color ball caps. I better go check and see if he is still sitting in my 182. :-)

You said if we had requests to post them. I know it isn't a new plane but I would dig a storch revisited. Showing everything it can do. Leading edge slats, flaps, flaperons, towing, floats for water/snow.

The landing gear bend if you bounce on landings. I fly off of a paved runway. The Maule likes to ground loop almost every landing. I think my main gear is the problem

As your moving out to a more remote side I offer this challenge, fly a set route but with no throttle control, that is controlled by another and is only off or full throttle. This could be based on the area or direction the plane is headed that will trigger ludicrous speed.
