Tutorial on how you can recreate the original Russian Tula Finish for your E&L AKM Airsoft and other Airsoft AK models. ^^ I have quite a few modding videos for the E&L AKM. Just browse through this playlist: • Airsoft Showcase & Mod...
hey still there ! man you gotta have the most perfect tula stylled airsoft akm in the world ! everything is perfect now ! just for the bakelite mag if u don't want (or could) use a real one adapted to airsoft u can 3d print some izmash/izveshk or tula marking in order to stick it on for the lengendary perfection !
Can't get 30 rounder mags anymore. Illegal... A few years ago I could buy any mag I wanted. Now not possible anymore... 🙄😤 I don't have a 3D printer so no option for me. Though it wouldn't make any difference then at all if you use an airsoft mag or a 3D printed one both not real... 😜
been watching several of your guides as well as vhs_airsoft, realfakeguns tutorials and they help alot! One thing I'm unsure of as I'm completely new to modding externals is how you clean off the chemicals afterwards because surely you don't rinse it with water after you applied anti-rust? Do you wipe it off with alcohol? I think I'll keep to coca cola and salt though :^) But I didn't think of using anti rust from the beginning. Since real AKM furniture (Wooden handguard, buttstock) are 200€ from what I know off, and the E&L essentail line wood is quite soft, I'm wondering if its possible to get a similar look by sanding down the wood and refinishing it with wood varnish. Have you done it? If so did you use a water based one?
As you can see in the video a rinse with hot water is enough for Evapo-Rust. I made a video about airsoft wood finish and imitating the Russian look. I used Shellac nnd redbrown wood dye.
@@2lbsTrigrPull I’ll look into that video. Cool projects man! One fun idea would be to grab some cheaper specna arms/CYMA AK with worse painted externals and seeing how realistic you can get it. Since you’re replacing sight posts, wood etc already with real parts it might be more economical since E&Ls are already supposed to be one of the better airsoft ak’s externals wise. Specnas already come with better internals, if you do play airsoft 😁 I know you dabble more in airguns. Be sure to look up polish sites like taiwangun or gunfire, but you might already know that 😃
@@aandersson650 Yeah that would be better if you are more budget minded. I wanted a good base from the start. 😁 My E&L AKM came already with better internals so no need to swap anything out fom the gearbox, Hop Up Unit or inner barrel. 😄
