There seems to be some confusion about the differences between the e-TWOW GT Sport / Uscooters GT Sport / Fluid Mosquito. This is what I have learned: All three are made by e-TWOW. The e-TWOW GT Sport and Uscooters GT Sport are identical. The GT Sport has a 10.5Ah battery with Samsung cells, whereas the Mosquito has a smaller capacity battery (9.6Ah) with generic cells. I ended up buying the e-TWOW on amazon because the guy who handles their customer support has a reputation for being very helpful. The GT Sport really is an excellent commuter scooter.
I've got 45 kph on a flat road from a full battery and 48 downhill. Best electric scooter on the market for what it does. It almost eliminates the L1e category, with scooters like Niu UQi.
I own the etwow s+ the bottom range model from 2020 and it has 350 watt motor with 500 peak but no drum break so it’s stomp and regen only with no app but the regen breaking has always seemed pretty good. Short trips like u say and portability this can’t be beaten but is so treacherous in wet and doesn’t track great on really uneven ground but overall if it’s for short trips in the dry u can’t beat these in many ways. Think it’s less rolling resistance with solid tyres that also allow better acceleration and scooter itself not being heavy. Would really like to see Etwow look at some sort of foam filled technology for tyres next to increase grip and ride quality whilst still avoiding the punctures! And great if those deck reflectors could be bright orange indicator lights. If u can afford two scooters get one of these for short dry trips and a larger weather proof scooter for full on commuting or poor weather like the pure air or Apollo city maybe (saying that as 500 watt seems to be where law will be!). Keep up the good videos guys 😀
I have the exact same scooter as you. Hills are its biggest weakness but was such a good deal. Best “bang for your buck” I could find and it’s still performing well after 4+ years of use
I hit 30-32mph down hills and can hit 29-30 normally on flat ground (2020 GT Sport). i love mine its so light, zippy, easy. Only complaints are poor range and wish they had a better horn button
I just ordered the GT Sport in grey... (I already have a GT 2020 in black, with over 2,000 miles on the clock)... I'm hoping the newer model has improvements over my GT 2020
I’ve heard the fluid mosquito is a rebrand of this scooter. The specs are pretty exact, but the deck on the etwow looks wider to me. I’d like to see a comparison vid of this one w/ the mosquito.
Thanks for watching and glad you found it useful! The Sport is supposed to have more range and a higher top speed than the SL which are the versions they have listed on the official site 👍
Haven't emove made the same exact model like this but under their brand. I'm not too sure I'm trying to look for it. It's the same one under a different brand
"Last mile scooter". HA! I've clocked a total of over 5000 miles on the three that I own, and they all still work. Buy this thing if you can afford it. I live in San Francisco and they eat hills for lunch.
From this video it doesnt look like it ''eats'' hills, it actually struggled alot and barely made it to the top, unless your a100lbs rider in that case it might do better 🤣
Hi, it's me again. How reliable is "48V 9.6 Ah E-TWOW Li-ion Battery" and are there any certificates for it? I am looking to purchase the E-TWOW scooter as it's on sale right now, but I don't seem to find any information about the battery pack.
Well couldn't give an exact answer but we have ridden it through some pretty wet conditions and its still in full working order! Would not advise riding any scooter in the wet though!! 👍
Best review I've ever seen so many reviewers Inc ESG even Tim's Electric @ others tell u 10 in wheel only WTH the don't tell u ( solid, pneumatic, split rims or not) they don't tell u if it has Zero Start capabilities all very important info .enjoy this review very much Ricky in NC.
