Hi Howard, great video, Atlantic Lithium seems ripe for a re-rate. We have been invested with various lithium equities since 2021. Yes, I took decent profits and some losses. Now only invested in Atlantic Lithium, hoping Ghana parliament will give ratification soon. We find your thoughts interesting regarding lepidolite. How many years can China bring on this swing supply, maybe until they build out their internal homeland battery energy storage systems as implied by Li Liangbin of Ganfeng, he stated as long as lithium price is low this is possible for China. Would love to see demand break this deadlock, a lithium correction, bullish cycle.
Great episode . Good to hear some positive spin and points from Ernie Ortiz. There is allot of information to juggle and different angles to take and appreciate . Inventory , de/restocking ,lepidolite , Africa , supply and demand . Etc. it’s quite chaotic really. At the end of the day the real cure for low prices is a demand shock from America , Europe and Asia with world production demand from new Tesla models and Robo taxi . Nothing else will do I fear .! @@vicpetrovich6266 appreciate the comments. Yes we need a demand surprise. Looks like robotaxi unveil postponed two months to October. Same happened with battery day which was originally planned for May but came in September 2020
Interesting. There appears to be a wide gap in the lithium supply/demand picture between lithium company presentations/expectations, and the reports coming from the institutions commodity depts, in both next few years and into 2030. The institutions have subdued lithium prices continuing into 2030 😮
I own stock in over 30 lithium and mining companies. I for one feel more bullish on SQM and Sigma in the lithium sector. Love the channel. SQM has recently signed long term supply agreements with several Korean automakers.
Great video! I was a little disoriented how you guys talked about trading lithium and not just be a long term holder (even though howard is a long term holder). Don't you guys think a stock like arcadium lithium could 10x in 10 years and 100x in 20 years (around 26% CAGR)? Its got the highest profit margins, great value OEM customers, a great CEO, analysts are most bullish on ALTM. A really undervalued company. What's your stance?
Macquarie bank has been very bullish on Arcadium Lithium for several years. I have followed this advice and now several miles underwater. Let’s hope some of this research is based on fact and not air. I would suggest that there is a lot of hot air in US players but this report is good and appears backed by facts.
