Episode 12 - We leave Daytona Beach and head north. Our plan was to quickly get up to the coast to avoid Tropical Storm Julia and reach Charleston SC about 350 mile away. Not a bad goal for a single day... but we barely made it 200 miles, about 210 to be exact. We stopped just south of Savannah GA to re-evaluate our route.
After a warm dry night at a hotel, we set out again and turned inland to get go to "Mayberry" NC. We made it and it was much better than riding in the rain.
