Joe, you gotta get the garage organized. We are cominng over soon to do a tour of your place... Havn't heard from you in a while. Hope all is well buddy.
Hey Phil, really appreciate you sharing your RC collection with the community, really looking forward to the next instalments covering the touring cars and buggies ...
Impressive collection a true RC lover for sure. Growing up when you still had to use your imagination I used to dream of slot cars & build plastics models. My brother was the one who had the track & cars so I had limited use. Ha! But he had this catalog & it was full of everything slot car & id flip through it for hours dreaming about which ones I’d get if I had the money. As adults we are programmed to live this robotic daily routine. But the world of moving wheels controlled by a throttle never goes away. It’s a way to step back into the careless world of a kid for a little bit again. Until something breaks that is! 😂🤨
Second video I've watched after stumbling upon you. Awesome channel. I love this old collector stuff. My first truck was a Traxxas Rustler I got back in 1995. In the process of restoring it. Wish i could find the original body.
Awesome collection of RCs Holy Smokes 🔥 My first good 2wd race truck was the Team Associated T3. I raced it several times and done fairly well. I tried out a Losi XXX GRAPHITE 2wd and I loved it and immediately bought one and went on to win over 30 trophy's on off road tracks and the 2003 dirt oval points championship at Coppers RC with it. I had the Losi nitro NXT and raced it several times but I couldn't find a dependable pit man and it was a lot more trouble than electric so I stuck to electric. Most of my RCs including my XXX was stolen out of my storage building. 😡🤬 I miss racing so bad. 😭
That’s horrible to hear that they got stolen. Thanks for sharing/reminiscing. Lois’s were top notch back in the day. I actually have a losi XXX and xxt that I’ve yet to feature on the channel.
This is Awesome, I’d like to see the Traxxas Hawk taking some laps on the Port Royale Race Track, there’s not enough footage of those trucks on RU-vid, they’re cool trucks, I’ve had a couple of them over the years.
Hey forward this too Phil if you can, don't think i found any channel with my brief search here. For the Ta02 F150 truck there was a re-release kind of, of that truck if you want another body for it it's kit number 58537 Desert Fielder. (No longer the same decals & any mentions of ford is gone ofc as Tamiya lost the license too that one & only spat out a re-release briefly before their 15 - 20 year deal ran out or something like that too produce it.) There is another Tamiya kit with a similar body called Asterion kit number 58552. (Which is the old Chevrolet s10 body from kit 58146 with again no licensed decals or mention of Chevrolet.) Then ofc the re-release of the baja f150 kit number 58495, but decals & body might pop up with the old kitnumber only which is 58161 Used too also be a Toyota Prerunner kit number 58136 but don't know if there are any reproduction bodies or decals here, haven't checked as im writing this comment. MCI racing or team bluegroove I'd imagine should have decals & maybe reproduction bodies as well for them.
Is that what a cleaned up work bench looks like? Huh.. For the life of me I cant seem to keep it that way for more than it takes to reach up and grab an unassembled kit, or something to clean and lube. There is always at least one RC in a million pieces on my bench LOL.
