My buddy Rocco gifted this Hirobo Alien Mid4 to the RC Retro Channel along with some new spare parts and some other RC bodies. Let's take a look at what condition the Alien Mid4 is in.
This video reminded me how much I always wanted a Zerda. Not to mention a Rock’n’City and a Lancia Rally. Hirobo and Marui need to pull their fingers out and reissue their cars 👍🏻

That’s amazing Ari!! Very s weet car. FYI I’ve had pretty good success stripping paints (and goo, and grease and dirt…) with concentrated Simple Green. Parts clean up beautiful and it takes off many paints when you let soak for while. And mmm the smell! 😂
Hey Keith, I”m going to get this all tuned up, new body and prepared for the Late Spring. Might have to go easy on it though…. I have to shoot you some pics of an unidentified RC car that i have.. Think its a hodgepodge of parts and might be part Ishipla that your latest video focused on. I’ll shoot you over some pics soon.
Congrats on the nice addition to the channel! I picked up a Alien Mid last year for a decent price. Not as affordable as yours…..It also needs a lot of work, and the parts are pretty hard to come by as you know.
Thats awesome to hear. I just fitted a reproduction to mine. Going to paint it up hopefully this weekend and also finish up the current project I'm on.. Then its onto fixing the front end of the Alien Mid. Trying to get a few of mine ready to run for the spring.
This is cool, I am happy for you! I am also completely crazy about the Alien, I have a TBG body lying around. Fortunately, I'm not a real Retro puritan, I will someday find a donor chassis and then I'll have a fake Alien, ha ha!

@@RCRetro At that time, it was used in races and converted to Lexan body and mid-engine. But all the parts are there to rebuild it. I can't say anything about the Price, it will be a Aukion without a reserve price in the bay.
