I miss Reeves, he's such a goofy guy :D And Reiner and Tim and Dan... Damn it, GI fell apart fast. At least we still have you guys, I'm so glad that you 3 and Kyle are still together!

Yeah sometimes, like when Hanson/Reeves/Cork/Juba got together for that episode of the Show. Or when Dan comes back and does something with Hanson you get a little glimpse back into that old GI chemistry. It really was a pretty special time, GI content from 2009 until 2014. And it was still pretty great from 2014 until 2019. I even liked the early 2020 stuff with Andy and Dan Tack on the podcast until Andy left in July. But yeah, sad to see thing end up the way they did.

Yeah it is sad. Normally I listen to GI show on spotify and I recently check them out on RU-vid and it's sad. Very low viewership little to no comments. I had a feeling that's what was gonna happen once they choose to do audio only on RU-vid. These days on youtube podcasting you have to have video of you or the game you're talking about showing or you just not gonna make it on RU-vid. Since I'm more of a Spotify user for them I hope they dont pull the plug on the show. It's still a good gaming podcast especially their Everything Nintendo Podcast.

Lightning in a bottle stuff, truly. I've gone through a ton of old Super Replays since January 1 (even some oldschool ones I somehow missed back in the day like Galerians and the TLoZ and Mario stuff). I've really been having such a blast doing so.

Great video seeing all that old E3 Footage. This made me think that a, “Where are they now” style video about all the former GI guys and gals would be interesting. Completely unrelated it is wild to see Brett Elston (the person from 35:57) on the screen and called out. It was because of him and others from Gamesradar that I got into podcasts with l Talkradar.

I got to goto E3 2017 after watching for many years and made it a personal mission to run into the GI crew. I was lucky enough to get a cheers from Andy, to tell Tim I loved his Super Replays, and to briefly (and awkwardly) talk with Kyle and Reeves. I saw Ben filming b roll but didn’t want to interrupt and was too shy to approach. Everyone was super nice. I miss E3

Thankyou Minnmax, for this awesome video! It's great to see this E3 coverage from GI. I saw a lot of E3 videos these last couple of days from various gaming media and it's so much fun, to hear all those stories from different perspectives off people. Personally, I think it's the coming together of people that are passionate about games that made it special, maybe even more so then the games or stands itself. Love it !

The fact that the press and developers have a never ending stream of non toxic friends to play online with has always meant that multiplayer has been over emphasised.
