It's that time of year again folks! Sit back, relax and enjoy game publisher execs and hosts making a fool of themselves at this years E3 conferences. E3 Cringe Playlist - • E3 Cringe Compilations... Twitter! - #!...
I never understand why E3 has always cringe in all the conferences. Like, they get nervous, they don’t know how to act, is just weird. The problem that I always see are those guys that always are with microphones yelling and trying to act excited about a guy playing a game. Like they can only say that there are those guys playing and put some gamplay, not make an sketch about it.
i dont think you understand how a lavaliere mic works.... most are hard wired to a box thats strapped to your belt behind you. the wire snaking around your torso on the inside of your shirt and clipped onto your shirt at the sternum. he can't just "give" him the mic. @@breakerboy365
At 6:47, I just enjoy how he is able to respond to the energy of the crowd. There was another one where the crowd was first laughing at him and he said something that made the crowd laugh with him. 8:01 is true cringe.
While not surprising, still sad to see it cancelled. It used to be Christmas Day for video game demos, press, and reveals. “Who won E3?” would be the chatter for weeks afterwards.
Why do they think people want to see these kinds of hosts? You know the whole "Hey whats up guys coming to you live from MTVs spring break!" Who likes that shit?
Just Dance 2019 is what sold me. Including this Sh!t @5:14 LOL I can't wait for This year E3. Even though Microsoft, Sony, & even Nintendo won't be there. We still have Multiplatforms to announce. So that means we still might be seeing some E3 Cringe going on. Including some bad Music proformences like for Rage 2.
How do they fail to learn every year? An event that size must be a logistical nightmare, I get that, but shouldn't they just step it down a few notches for a bit and get a handle on it? It's like they think the antidote to these all these cringey fuckups is to just throw more shit at the event and make it even more complex and difficult to manage.
Considering you used the phrase "i will cut your head off and let homeless men facefuck you for free" and " filthy Americans in the ricefields to drive them out of our country" and then the worthy opponent thing....idk it's pretty believable.
John Doe because they aren’t people at all. E3 is nothing but a yearly test to find out if the robots are ready to take over. Thankfully, as of yet, they’re still too stupid.
It's hard for most people to act normal in front cameras especially when you're doing a live presentation being watched by millions and in front of a large crowd. Some people are just naturally great at being able to be relaxed on camera like Todd Howard for example but most people require practice.
My friend: hey what’s your favourite bit about e3? Was it the last of us part 2 gameplay? The elder scrolls 6 announcement? Me: no. It’s BigMooney’s cringe compilation
The over enthusiasm and presenters trying to be 'cool' is where this cringe comes from man its unbearable lol - and the comedy is like watching a rookie stand-up comedian fail at their local comedy club XD
Game developers and most people associated with gaming tend to be strange characters. This is nothing new. One thing I noticed that gave me a bad vibe was the excessive use of "fuck, fucken" during a few presentations. These things are rehearsed, so when you think about the thought process of including swears into a presentation, it only tells you someone is trying to be "edgy" or "hip".
wolf pack ghost developers juggling both making games while also organizing all of what happens at e3. I highly doubt that they have sufficient time to rehearse everything properly. Nintendo found a work around via Nintendo Direct, so that they don't flub on stage.
TheRedRaven I disagree. Everyone is a strange character. Some people are socially awkward and are not good on cameras, however. These are those people. In the case of the use of swearing, I think it's much less to be "edgy" and more to show humanity and maturity. You notice how companies on Twitter and such are suddenly meming and joking now? They want to appear human because it makes them more approachable as a product. The same thing carries over with swearing. Adults curse. People curse. So the company does too, to fit in. The use of cursing excessively may be a poorly executed message that the game isn't for kids.
You're giving him too much credit. He just straight up has 1/100 in social skills, he swears because the variants of fuck are easy to use/remember in a conversation when you're too anxious to think of another verb. He oozes anxiety.
@@bigfoot7602 as an audio tech sounded like they gave them the wrong mic pack so when they opened the channel it was sat infront of a monitor speaker backstage.
To be fair, everything is live. It's really hard to pull off something like E3, especially when you're not an actor, just some business guy standing in the crosshairs of the internet.
That is a symptom of the approach the companies take. Instead of actually showing us gameplay they give us fake enthusiasms and filler crap. But maybe they can't because most games are derivative with nothing to get you excited about. Look how good the presentation of Fallout 4 was, regardless of what the game actually turned out to be
Finally a conference that didn't have a awkward silence when the announcers expected an applause and got nothing from the crowd and all you can do is sit a nod your head until the announcers finally realize no one cares and just move on with the conference
I love Bethesda, only problem i got is that it was basically all their same franchises with a diff number. The ES6 reveal was a joke lol they probly made it that morning.
The cameraman panning the audience couldn't find anyone who wasn't confused, concerned, demonstrating fake-enthusiasm, or flat-out bored. Poor Andrew WK.
This video cut the performance up a lot. The crowd was cringy, but not Andrew WK or his band. BigMooney just keep cutting in the bad camera shots, thus making it look like the drummer wasn't actually playing.
They are forced by their bosses, their job is to sell and their bosses decides how they have to proceed, it does not matter whether the product is shit or not, they have a job.
