BlacKnight Creations Patreon patreon.com/BlacKnightCreations This has been a huge effort, I really didnt know what I was getting mysself in for when I start. I think I have the next step all planned out but then it all changes.
G'day from West Australia😉 I Am offering a small suggestion for your, mamouth ute task. 1. Don't look at all the work left to do😊 2. Focus on small steps . 3. The order of assembly will indeed reveal it's self to you. 4. Taking is absolutely your friend ( unlike fully welded and crap it's not in the right spot)😂 Yes been there about 40yrs ago. 5. This is a journey ( enjoy it, it's fun expanding your mind to think outside the box. So tk speak, saying it to a guy building a box kinda😊) 6. Stay focused on the first drive as a ute. While enjoying the steep learning curve. 7. Imagine every day, the satisfaction of not only learning new skills, but the obvious wow I Am building this, wow how cool is that.😊 Ignor if you want☺️ The above does help though😊👍👍
All amazing advice! I do definitely do most of these but sometimes the focus can just shift. I’ve had a little break over Christmas and news years and can’t wait to get back into the workshop early next year to continue filming episode 22. The “wow I’m building this car, how cool is this” hit really hard, I do that all the time already
@@blacknightcreations there common frazes among car builders, in my trade life helping them wher e I can. ( usually with ways to get past some kind of challenge or other, they can't see a way past). May your New Year see you grow your skills. Grow even further beyond your comfort zone with absolute ease. Episode 22 here we go waiting patiently🙂👌👍👍
This is a sick build and wished to build my own e30 m3 ute. Living vicariously through you. Keep it up bro, you''ll defiantly blow up once the algo works in your favour.
Awesome progress and great long content. It’s certainly coming together nicely. U.K. truly appreciates your hard graft. It’ll be a phenomenal experience and truck. 🇬🇧
I was thinking about splitting it into two episodes but this is really how I want my videos to go. I’ve settled into a routine with working and have a solid plan so hopefully you won’t wait as long for the next episode.
Head up brother That ute is killer and the work your doing is awesome. Everyone gets to that point of despair on a job so big. Your not alone. There is a heap of guys behind you on this build wishing you every success. Can’t wait to see it finished. Just do at least one thing on the car every day you get a chance to work on it. Very soon there will be a finished ute in front of you. Keep up the great work.
I've had an E30 touring and it's a shame a touring is rare in Australia cause I know for sure it would be a lot less cutting and grinding for you. You know how the backside of an E30 touring is build so you know what I'm talking about. But again great job much respect and I can't wait till it's done.
@@blacknightcreations If you could get your hands on a 3 series Alpina engine or a Hartge engine you would have the most powerfull engine(stock). I'm allready excited. Good lick with this build mate
I’m new to your build and let me say that I really like the project. I love utes, who doesn’t. About the tailgate mechanism, I think you need to look at it with both top and bottom attachments and make an unequal scissor so that it opens out and down. I think the shinge will bind up and you’ll end up hating it. Keep going man.
That sounds like a 90° bonnet hinge to me. The kind you find on a Volvo 850/v70mk1 or mercedes w123. Flipped90°, they should open and move backwards.@@blacknightcreations If you're looking at them at the scrapyard, and they don't seem to open 90°, there's a little safety lever you need to flip before they do.
Looking good mate, I like to see the struggles as you work on this because thats what a project is most of the time :) I have an 1989 318i coupe that I have a pandem kit to go on, but I would ratehr get metal guards but dont really want the M3 guards because people will think its an M3 :( I do however have an LS1 chilling waiting to go in and a freshly powder coated rear subframe with Hillside bracing welded in :)
Thanks, there hasn’t been as much struggling with this project as you’d think. Getting the second rear quarter has definitely been the hardest part but that’s just a waiting game.
Another solid video with solid progress. I'll be watching whether it's a 2 minute update or a 2 hour one. Is there any way we can support your channel other than just on RU-vid? Maybe Patreon or a place to buy shirts?
Cheers! I’m hoping to do more videos of this length in the future. I’ll be setting up both a patreon and a merch store when I’m monetised. If you want to message me over Facebook or Instagram I’d be mor than happy to send you a tshirt in the mean time?
@@blacknightcreations i know, in germany its the opel omega, but never an pic up or an 2door coupe'. Normaly i need only the body, but i never find onw who help me. Maby when you whant ore have time
Aye mate, first of I really like your idea. I'm a huge fan of E21 and E30 BMW's. But knowing you're building a Ute shouldn't you die an E30 touring so the back proportion would be on point, don't you think 🤔. That to me would be the perfect donorcar
E30 touring are so rare in Australia. As far as I’m aware all E30s are the same base just different door lengths and roof supports. I went with the baur for the extra roof rigidity.
You've been overhere Mate seriously. If you ever get the chance to come over, just let me know mate, I'll make sure you'll have a place to stay. Got some friends down there. My best mate from Down under is from Phillip Island, he used to be my neighbour when hè lived in Holland. My other mate is from NorthMead Sydney.
@@blacknightcreations talking about RARE a Bauer is also RARE. If you have a rustbucket of an Bauer they still pay you 10.000 euro's for it overhere. If I'm honest, my favorite 3 serie is the DADDY of the 3 series, the E21 323i Alpina 6 line engine
I am but until I’m monetised I can’t promote it, I have a tshirt I have to send to Hawaii so shoot me a message on Instagram or Facebook and we can sort it out
