When you bought the camber plates, did you not receive the metal sleeves/bushing? My M3 Evo 3.2 top mounts failed (separated) and they are no longer a valuable purchase, since it's impossible to find them for sale or they have jacked up the prices so much it's x5 cheaper to just get adjustables. Either way when I ordered mine (purple) I made sure the sleeve was included in the picture and rightfully so I needed it for the Eibach Pro Street S coilovers. But yeah good fabrication skills, I just wanted to mention the metal insert is suppose to be included.
I noticed that to. Kinda sucks but this works for now. Will get a new set of coils eventually. And indeed nowhere to be found separatly. Thnx for the comment bro.
So, think i´ll have that problem, cause i had install the jom blue line coilovers that looks exactly the same as yours with the oem strut mounts, and now i ordered the maxspeed camberplates, after you finish the job, there was any problem??
Nah they are not soft. You can remove or twist up the helper spring. It's a bit softer as the main spring maybe it's on that to much. I have no problems so far. Or at least stiff enough
If the camber plates come with sleeves do I still need to do this? On their website it shows it comes with 4 other sleeves and they are maxpeedingrods too
Wonder if you can just cut slits where the threads come up from your strut instead of using a camber plate I mean technically you're doing the same thing if you did it like that you could maybe find a washer with a lip on it to go down in the cuts you made for a little bit more stability .does anybody think that would work 🤔
Yes it should work, but to have the adjustability is way better i think and its not that expensive, also I would weld plates in to reinforce it if you want to do that. Or a dubble plate so you can adjust camber and caster. But since the market is full of cheap options. 🤷
No. But I've heard it. Trick is to wiggle them loose of the car. And oil them up. And repeat. I didn't AR first and after a while they start to turn themselves loose.
@@theslidingdutchman I have stance + coilovers with the same camber plates as yours. The plates tilt but they dont spin so I think when I turn the steering wheel the whole shock turns
