What a feeling. Working on the supercharged S62 m5 has been a roller coaster ride that's for sure. After getting it back together I can say it's really not that difficult, just tedious and precise work.

We were getting a little concerned but mainly due to the time it was all pulled apart. Not to mention we didn't do most of the disassembly, so were putting it all back together with out really knowing where everything went.... yolo

That’s it... and a manual box so it may not be as fast in a straight line but it should be great to drive when it’s done 🤞

I've just had a cam chain tensioner go on my golf gti and trashed the engine. Wish I had the money or you as mates ( in uk ).. Keep up the great work lads

I love the fact that aall went good, but be carefull with crancking all that time without get oil pressure and with new bearings install, is not to good to do, some engines dont make oil pressure with just cranking. Know i need to see that n54 backing to good health state.

Nice work boys. Havent done bearings but have done chain guides and oil separator. Always nice when it kick back to life again. Now get that to the panel shop!

So glad for you guys that the bearing swap looks to have gone well. I've the same job to do (on a smaller scale) on the other halfs fiesta ST, I'll be lying on the ground for that one!
