Don’t rush out and get new tires. Go to the track 2 more times and improve your time with your PSS tires. You can then tell if YOU are improving and it’s not just because of new tires. I’d guess there are at least 2 seconds the “driver” can improve on without new tires. Make sure you work just as hard at improving the driver as much as the car. I’d highly recommend getting a set of these 4 point belts. You won’t be spending all of your effort trying to stay in the seat. Get the Pro type - don’t go for the non Pro model. The Pro model works with a HANS device. Which is the best safety upgrade you can make - plus, the HANS helps keep you firmly anchored in the seat. www.schrothracing.com/img-Sharc/prod/968_IMG_0902.jpg www.turnermotorsport.com/p-390805-e46-schroth-quick-fit-pro-harnesses/?pdk=AgEB
I’ll look into those! I definitely want to get a roll bar and harnesses soon. I know there’s more time to make up with how the car currently sits. I want to have a good driver ride with me to give me tips during a session, I think that would help a lot!
good stuff Parker, you'll get that 2:05 in no time. don't get bigger wheels and tires, get wider wheels and tires and that will correct a lot of your under steer. i', currently running 18 by 10 275 Tires square on my E46 M and this thing Hugs the road and corners. also get a proper track alignment.
Yea that’s what I meant when I said that hahaha, I always realize I say stuff wrong when editing the videos. I’ve have a track alignment now so I just need to bite the bullet on the wheels + tires! What tires do you run?
Moving the steering wheel on the straights slowed you down. If your not getting into ABS when your braking/ you’re not braking hard enough. The smoother you are the faster you will be able to go. Nice video.
