Hello, just followed your post.. very much helpfull. I have the intrument cluster changed from the old owner, i was able to change the millage. The issue is that i cannot change the vin on the IKE. Its telling me that i need to factory reset before performing this action. The problem is that the factory reset is greyed out and cannot be click. Do you have any idea about this.

Hi, i‘m repairing a fire damaged E46 and have been supplied a used LCM, following your instructions to 1st check for correct algorithm in the support list, it only finds a partial algorithm match HC912-12 coloured in red and the part number is different, does this mean i cant match to the car.?

Also would like to know this as well. Have a donor cluster with original LCM. Is software enough, or do we have to unsolder chip inside of cluster then reprogram?
Hi sir I change my cluster out with other one but I have the dot infront the miles and my fuel range, outside temperature etc is not working? Any ideas
@@BimmerZen Hi, I have the same problem as you but in reverse, the previous owner changed the cluster because the crystals were broken, (fortunately the new cluster has the same mileage as the LCM at 1500km ready, I will write again the mileage on the cluster on the LCM) but my question is is it possible to write the VIN of the LCM on the new meter? Rather than the opposite as in the video.
