Thanks for being observant. You're right about the foil, I took it off later because it interfered with the temperature accuracy. Temperature measurement requires close contact with the skin, even if it is slightly moist. As for the ECG, the foil apparently does not interfere, maybe because the measurement is then performed in PTT mode (Pulse Transit Time). This type of measurement is used in hand-held ECG measuring instruments. It follows that there are two ways to measure ECG: on the wrist with electrodes and in hands without electrodes. Note that in the ECG adapter with stickers there is no contact of the electrodes with the skin. Apparently there's a built-in microphone that counts heartbeats? The chest strap also has the heart rate diodes cut off, and it works.

The plastic foil prevents a connection as I am sure it is non-conductive. It then follows that this watch does not produce a ECG, but rather fakes it. The watch probably detects pressure applied on the back and uses the PPG tech (optical) to mimic an ECG chart. If the E500 is like this then I have to assume that all watches of the family, EP01, E400, E200, E66 etc. are all faking ECGs. My confidence is shattered.
