I see your still in my old neck of the woods. My mum was born at Lowsonford. I went to school in Wootton Wawen. It’s pronounced whoawhen. As in you say whoa to stop a horse. And your right Wilmcote is ‘coat’. Your journeys are making me want to visit ‘ home’ again. My father owned the main shop in the village 3 miles from Wootton called Henley-in-Arden. Happy times. X

Spain is great. It is a lot cheaper to sit in the shade for about ten months of the year. Only in January and February is it necessary to wear winter clothes. There is a problem getting a RNP, the only ones that I can find are bottled Spitfire and Bombardier. Thank you both for many laughs as I binge watch to catch up, and it is lovely to watch Alfie and Bonnie having a race-around. Best wishes and keep safe. Cuidanos, (pronounced 'kwidanos' with the 'a' as in hat and the 'o' as in hot). It means 'take care of yourselves.

Kc Wheeler you are correct, the southern route would be quicker but we have just come from that area using the southern route, so rather than retracing our steps we like to travel new waters. Oh nearly forget, Debbie does cut my hair and has done for the past 20 years

Loving your videos, we are nearly up to date, one thing you could have added to the vlog is the lenghtmans cottage at the lock at Lowsonford. It was renovated by the Landmark Trust and is let out to holiday makers. We stayed there this time last year and spent every night in the Fleur, checking out the pies, they are the best. The really interesting thing about these cottages is that the roof was made using the wooden formers they made the bridges with, they are made from brick and held together with iron tie bars to stop them collapsing. Keep up the good work the vlogs are good fun to watch and we always learn something new.

hello you lovely people. Wooton Wawen = Wooton Whoa-en. Wilmcote = Wilm-coat. Before moving to Spain we lived about 4 miles north of S-on-A visited often, but not when the river got out of its bed. Fair winds.

Have to put this on my narrow boat bucket list. I have become captivated at the thought of cruising Britain by narrow boat. When I was in the US military I would visit all over Europe and Britain on my leaves while stationed in Turkey so many years ago. I have built boats and cruised many oceans but seeing the pastoral beauty of Britain as you show it makes me want to get a narrow boat built so I can cruise at a leisurely pace. I now live in Israel but Europe doesn't interest me as much as the British countryside. Thank you again for the great work and time you spend making your very enjoyable Vlogs.

Lovely video as usual ! I lived in Warwickshire for 26 years, beautiful countryside ! Everyone pronounces Wilmcote, as Wilmcot, and Wooton Wawen, as Wooton Warwen (but said quickly). If only I could get a Canal Network here in my adopted country of Thailand, then you could taste a REAL Thai curry ! Here's a hint for you . It's NOT the Chilli seeds that are spicy hot (Ped in Thai), it's the yellow pith surrounding the seeds, where the heat lies. (ven respected Chefs make that mistake). Difficult to separate the two though ! If you want to try SPICY !!!!!, try, Somtam (google it !). It will blow your head off. Hint, to passivate the heat of Curries or Somtam, have some Yoghurt close by. Take care, xxx

Whew that towpath mud😳 how do you manage the dogs with that? My poodle Cookie would be COVERED as she goes full speed and my Chihuahua Callie would not even put one toe in it! When your dogs bark on TV our girls try to find them it’s really cute😊

Lovely to see my two(four) favourite canal vloggers together , awesome. Having watched you guys from the start I can see that Debbs has really cracked the steering(navigating) and Marks camera work is at a really high level now. The drone work was really good, nice smooth lines ( wonder if your settings are off , may be stuck on manual focus) regardless the drone footage added to the vlog. Great vlog. Interesting to be able to compare directly to the Foxes - both great but both a very different style. Keep up the great work. Was there still a sign at Wooton Wavern for a craft centre? We went there 2 or 3 years ago and there were no crafts at all, just slightly expensive boutiques and some antique shops - not what I was hoping for at all! Have you ever seen any good craft centres on the canals anywhere? Thanks again

ok I asked the Foxes to investigate where "Chitty Chitty Bang bang" might be and they said that they had already done the Stratford-upon-Avon and kinda flew it off, maybe you can see if you can at least confirm that it lives on the Stratford-upon-Avon.....or not, but that is where Chitty lives.....according to current myths. Keep on Cuttin....

Thanks guys, another lovely video. That drone footage, wow! What a different perspective and it looked just so good. Sorry to hear about the camera messing up for you, technology eh ;) I see you were still traipsing around with the Foxes, what a pair of scallywags they are, such lovely guys. It would be so cool to meet up with all of you Boat-Tubers, what a party that would be. Take care of yourselves and again, many thanks for the lovely videos. PS: Is Deb going to take a leaf out of the Narrowboat Chef crew and show how to cook that curry? It looked just so yummy and the perfect meal for your winter travels. PPS: have you looked at life jackets for your pooches? Most of the others with doggies have a special life jacket on them, just in case.

Thanks, tech only break down when you need it😂. We had a great time with Foxes but have now moved on, check their latest vid for some outstanding drone footage. We will leave the cooking vids to the experts, but we did do a curry vid last year where we used stinging nettles. we have life jacket for the dogs we are on rivers, this is shown on some of our previous vids👍

And if Mark doesn't get one (and he has no idea I'm writing this. An insight into the mood swings of a, dare I say it, literary genius, have no idea who's typing this, it not me, or me either. there are 2 rates for diesel and its usually up to the individual to declare the percentage split when purchasing it diesel for heating and electrical generation and hot water is about 75 pence per litre diesel for propulsion £1.20 upward. some marinas insist on selling it on a 60/40 split our average usage is just under 1 litre per hour

Pinched this off the internet Soon after the structure was built it became apparent that the thermal expansion and contraction resulted in excessive movement. Thermal expansion had not previously been a design issue because on earlier, shorter spans, it did not produce a significant effect. In a 20 0C temperature change, for example, the trough will expand by up to 65 mm. The piers are undamaged because their slenderness renders them flexible. Thats weird, I've got the sudden urge for a bacon sandwich 😳 Love the Latin 👍😂

Its a Parrot Bebop 2, lots of stuff on youtube about the camera problem ive had, and how to re focus it in a barbaric sort of way, its 3 years old and isn't worth spending money on, On a budget and don't use it to much so have just ordered a new DJI Mavic Mini
