I'm sure, by that time, Journey would already be a journey to the cemetery. They should write their own materials instead even if sounds close to Journey and work hard to make it popular.
His voice is like the original one ..steve but the problem is lack of feeling & emotion unlike arnel P. Overfllowing of emotion with big heart. ❤❤❤..but thanks also to the singer at least he tried his best . God bless
Sound great; dead on! Sadly, the trap with tribute artists is that they'll never be known for themselves, but rather "the guys (or guy) that sounds like..."
@@TheArtofGuitar My hat's off to you - sincerely - we all have eat. I too played in a few event / cover bands ;) I was certainly referring to band/artists that live off the likeness of another as a career: ESC4P3, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, etc., I couldn't' do it in any self-respecting way.
DOn't know why it's a half step down. He isn't close to struggling at all. It just lacks a tiny bit when the key is altered. Maybe to avoid vocal attrition ? Awesome job just would love to hear him tone down the Perry vowels a tad bit. It's over the top on some phrases and sounds forced.
They’re tuned a half step down. There playing it in the correct key. Lower tuning makes it easier for the vocalist to sing Journey covers all night. Not an easy task! Lots of bands do it to preserve their singer’s vocal chords
You can replace any band member without affecting the band signature... Except for the front man. Arnel might be a good singer but that signature vocals is somehow incomplete, and the accent is there. As a filipino I'm proud of you Arnel but somehow you lack to hit the nostalgic signature that Steve has. Jason is closer to it.
