@@kingdommusic5456 god prevents that, if Journey picks this dude, they will blow his voice with their nonstop scheduled touring, just as they did with great augueri and our beloved Perry. neal $chon doesnt deserve their great singers he've toured with
I fucking love neal schon as a guitarist myself but don't understand his work as a business man. And although arnels a great singer on his own, ive seen videos of him struggling and thats sad, thats not a sign of him no longer able to cover this tunes, it's vocal fatigue from excesive touring, story is repeating, as it did happen with great singers before him.
I know you think! he definitely sounds like Steve Perry,I heard alot of singers that try to sing like Steve Perry and the closes is Arnel Pineda and this guy only he dresses more like Steve Perry.
I am not one for tribute bands but these guys are exceptional. If you and your sig other want a great night out check these guys out when they come to town.
This is a damn good performance by ALL and I saw Journey live in 1987. Very pleasantly surprised. I'd go see them. I saw a video of Steve Perry singing from 2019 and he sounded fantastic. This guy is spot on.
Seriously, you lot nailed it. The vocals, drums, bass, guitar- all absolutely perfect. The staccato and slight bending with the guitar on the bridge are rarely just right, and the mild rasp on the vocalist's performance are the two missing ingredients on these covers, and it's here in spades. Not to mention those excellent harmonies!
Neil Schon and Jonathan Cain are you impressed? Why nobody makes a video with Jason Kelty side by side with Steve Perry singing Faithfully or Open Arms or Don't Stop Believing!
Not only does he sound just like Steve but he's rockin his style and moves . His pants need to be just a little tighter to be Steve though lol. I'm very impressed by his voice .
Greatest and closest vocals to Steve Perry specially no diction issues ... but its Better if His not imitating Steve it becomes corny... He alone Stands OUT already!
Ok. I am VERY critical. VERY. Like don't mess with Steve Perry. Best I have heard right here. He needs to learn Steve's moves a lot better & invest in real tux jackets. Vocals are pretty damn good. I would go see them before I would go see what is left of the real Journey!!
This lead singer (who looks more like Aerosmith's Steve Tyler vs. Perry back in the day) is VERY good, and could probably "do" Arnel as well as Perry (and Augeri and Hugo, who looked and acted so much like Perry that it was uncanny). As for his mates, I'd say they sound more like a decent garage band than Journey in any version. Overall, very entertaining if you can't see the real deal (still with Arnel. I truly miss Dean Castronovo and his Perry renderings because, imo, he came closest to the real deal. As for the better drummer, my vote goes to Smitty). Long live Journey. Faithfully ....
Great job on the song..a little fast but it's live..my only criticism is shitcan the Alex Lifeson guitarist..no attention to dynamics of the song..roll off the volume during verses .. there is a knob on the guitar for that..your in a Journey Tribute Band..listen to the song...your solos aren't even close!! 😖. The rest of the band is Awesome!!!
