star bits are different to torx bits there are similarities but they are not the same. Thanks for the video seems like the right chore to get the damn thing off but atleast its all screws and not rivets or plastic clips!
bro u gotta realize most the ppl looking this up is cuz they cant jack up their car unless the bumpers off LOL thats why im here shits way too low so the first step w the jack almost none of us r doing haha
Why remove the whole wheel well cover? You inly need access to the bottom corner to get the two screws on bumper cover. Turn wheel other way to do that. Jacking up seems unnecessary also. Use a ratchet on all. Oh and good luck getting a hold if the windshield sprayer again to out the cap back. Its a bitchhhh to grab. Easy to break cap
that plastic pannel that sits infront of the intercooler, would I have to remove my bumper to remove that? vid didnt show if that was held on by the inside or if I can just kick it out somehow
As I removed my bumper a small rubber seal fell out. It's about 4 inches in size and fell from the drivers side. Can't find out where it goes 😖 was near the bottom near the vent.
Good video. I have an e85 3.0si z4 and just picked up a clean title 08 e90 for dirt cheap. I need to do some plastic welding to the bottom of the bumper. I put up a initial video up on it.
To be completely honest I just took my bumper off but I can't seem to put it back on with the screws so I am going to just tape the top screws cause they won't engage

If you try to loosen the lug nuts while the car is lifted in the air the entire wheel will spin and not allow you to loosen it unless you use an impact gun.
