An EA-18G Growler from VAQ-129 "Vikings" performs an awesome mini-demonstration during the 2019 Aviation Nation airshow at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada. This performance was originally supposed to be a Legacy Flight performance alongside an FJ-4 Fury, but that aircraft suffered a belly landing en route to the show so the Growler crew filled the time with high speed and photo passes!

@@joec4106 I know, I meant it was nice a Super Hornet was part of Aviation Nation weekend.👍 Opposite showside, parked near tower, I counted 6 Super Hornets and 3 Hawkeyes there for joint exercises.

Delten -Eleven the super hornet was the first fighter jet I’ve ever seen fly. My father took me to a local air show on the beach. It may sound dramatic when I say this, but I will never forget that first pass it made and that noise of pure power of the engines that you could feel in your chest. A moment I will never forget.

@@joec4106 I share your sentiment with a similar experiences. I was on base and saw F-4s and A-7s were still flying, F-15A was the superiority fighter, when the A-10s were green and the F-16 was new.

Delten -Eleven lucky! I want to see the f4 fly. My father was a WSO in the F4E. It’s on my bucket list to see one fly. I understand there is a team that flys one, I’m gonna have to see if they are flying near me anytime soon lol.

@@hugostiglitz6914 first off, this Growler performance is just a Navy Legacy Flight. They are suppose to fly with older aircraft to honor the Navy past and present. Not sure what happened and why they didn't though, but none the less a Growler making non stop high speed passes you can't go wrong. Secondly, the Growler crew is not approved for aerobatic demonstrations, they are only approved and have trained to fly with older Navy aircraft at airshows, so for you to compare the Russian Demo you posted to this Performance is apples to oranges.

@@lukegrix7754 none of the F18's performed a very exciting display. In fact the only US aircraft that displays well is probably the F22 but even that doesn't compare with an early SU37. Between Mig and SU the Russians have at least half a dozen aircraft that display better than anything in the West!

But when it comes to true Air to Air battles, its hard to beat the Americans BTW the French Rafale displays in my opinion are better than the Russians
