@@adey126The Sims 2 also has some egregious eyesores. I'm thinking of a specific Desiderata Valley house right now but boy oh boy there's a few others as as well. they can get rough 😭
I wonder why EA never just invited players to help with builds. That starter home looks like it was built by some executive's kid on Bring Your Kids to Work Day. 🤣 Great job, by the way. You knocked the art deco look out of the park.
Thank you so much!! And right!? I’m sure many simmers would’ve loved the offer!! They do it now for Sims 4 packs, but they should’ve started it back then!!
Stairs without a railing really bug me. Logically I know that the sims aren’t going to walk into the hole and fall down the stairwell, but it just doesn’t look safe.
They had to leave it like that, in order not to make new players depressed about building their very first house - "Omg, my house is better than the default EA one!" 😅 Great channel by the way, keep up the good work! 🍀
I’m a sims4 player so I rarely watch sims3 content but this video popped up in my suggestions and I’m so glad it did! You are a breath of fresh air and i LOVE what you did with this house , Well done!
I might be wrong, but spiral staircases are more expensive than regular ones, so I usually get rid of them if I'm trying to save money (sometimes hard when there isn't much space!). I don't know how I'd play without Create a Style - you made the wallpaper look SO much better!
You get a bit more money back if you delete the floors and wall paper before you paint them. It’s a dollar or two per tile but it adds up fast. And I always use the cheapest tile wall for wall paper when I start out. CAS can make it all pretty. 😊 😊
I used to don't give a st about the houses I just wanted to play as a kid, now, as an adult, I enjoy to decorate and update the worlds and homes, such a fun activity for me now lmao
Roaring Heights map is set in the art deco era, which lasted until the 50's, you don't need to do an upper-class design for a starter home. You would've had more money if you focused on a lower-classed homes. Print furniture, floral wallpaper, dark wood tones, and tiled flooring. CAS could've been used more to make the base game furniture better. I would've swapped out that shower for a bath-tub. The outside of the house was well-done.
I love Roaring Heights but as soon as you showed that house I remembered my reaction to buying it for my Sim lol the horror!!! It was so cute on the outside.
ea-built houses usually are sooo sloppily built :/ i remember looking into one of pre-made ts4 get famous houses,,, some of the walls didn't even have paint lmao
Me screaming at the screen "Sink" Cj in the kitchen 😂. But I love that design in the bathroom for the title that was nice. You did a great job renovating this house 🥰.
This video is so relaxing, you have a very palatable voice. I prefer to build in more antiquated styles myself and this video brought a smile to my face :) love the wallpaper and wood furniture. Surprised they made this house so open floor as in my experience older houses tend to be more boxed off with individual rooms instead of open spaces. Not sure if art deco is an exception though. Also, maybe green would have looked cool in the kitchen as well? May have tied it in with the plants in the living room. Fantastic job either way!!
Roaring Heights is my most favorite world, & I agree I don't like many of the starter homes because they're bare & had weird layouts 😅 Also, I think the 1st plant you used came from Jazz Age set Overall, I love what you did with the whole house, it's so pretty 😍
I really liked roaring heights but i kinda struggled a lot with how clashing the old time style outfits are with the rest of the game so i would genuinely go changing everyones outfits befor i begin playing
If I'm not wrong the problem with the stairs glitching can be fixed by just clicking it and placing it back I haven't played ina while but omg I used to hate when that would happen with stairs and windows😭😭
I kinda like it. It makes you want to move in and make the house pretty. What I don't like is how much money you have to spend on the game to make it entertaining (packs are too small)
It's built like they definitely didn't finish it haha. But where they said let's get creative is with the diagonal turned spiral stairs, they said eat it uppp 💅🏻💅🏻
I am so sorry… I love this house 😂 It’s got a lovely art deco exterior, great long narrow shape, a nice yard, and two story starter houses are so rare. It’s definitely a fixer upper but it’s a great starter.
At least it's more justified in this game for the devs to be lazy considering the amount of lots per world, there's no excuse for the sims 4 to have 4 lot worlds and still forget to put doors or toilets in the builds
I can tell you have an amazing personality just how friendly your voice is, was looking for something to just listen to while I worked and let me tell you, Attention was grabs, maintained, and well worth the sub!
i think the stair thing is just a visual glitch. i've gotten it a few times on my old computer and it didn't affect gameplay from what i can tell. i also don't know how to get rid of it. i just sort of hoped it would go away on its own.
How are you able to play sims 3? Ive been trying to play in on the EA App and I just got a new laptop and it still won’t launch the actual game 😭. I really wanted a refund so I can switch to steam cause this makes no sense!
Sou do Brasil. Adoro essa casa, em roaring heights. ela é perfeita, para iniciar o jogo ou também permanecer nela sempre. durante toda a gameplay, no mundo roaring heights.
Aren't they supposed to be bad builds to inspire the players to be creative? That home seems like a mid level challenge. Probably a second home instead of a starter, especially since the description says to "escape the hustle and bustle of downtown"
