When i have the ball and i have to trigger a run very fast let saw i do the L1 aim at player run then give him a direction my player does a trick at times, any suggestions?
Tap L1 when aiming the left stick at the player you want to run, then (make sure you’ve let go of other controls) gently flick the right stick once in the direction you want the running player to go.
happened to me a few times when i was learning, you are late with the right stick flick. when you press l1 you have only a second to flick right stick for a creative run.
i know all these tricks, my player lock is rusty tho. i just cant seem to surpass 11 wins, sometimes not wven that. ive grindes the game since the start of tots, and i just cant seem to get any better. sometimes i feel like i have improved but then i go to champs and still struggle to get 11 wins. my internet is really bad, but i dont think thats the biggest problem. some games im fully locked by my opponent and i cant score a goal. sometimes i just cant defend and my opponent just left atick dribble away and around my defender. my team aint the problem. any tips?
In the first clip when u trigger a run how do u know who ur triggering on the run before doing it? I normally just press l1 and have to wait a second or two to see which player makes the run? Can I l1 trigger a run specifically for a player? I know I can player lock and switch but I’m not talking about that, for instance if 2 players are central and I L1 trigger is there a way to know who I’m triggering before hand? I’ve moved the left stick towards them but I’m not sure if that’s even correct
the mechanics of l1 trigger. you can choose who to trigger, flick l stick in the direction of the player you want to make a run as you press l1. if you dont flick, then the closest player to where you are facing will make a run.
